Zest Bar and Grill

Food was delicious! I had the shrimp and grits, cooked perfectly! My husband had the Zest burger also perfectly done. Our service was great! We are bringing home a key lime pie to enjoy when we are not so full. Waitress said it is made in house by their pastry chef

Great hand cut ribeye sandwich, and steak! Fish and chips are out of this world! If you like blackened catfish or shrimp and grits, they've got that covered! Don't even get me started on the cocktails! 😋

This place was so great! Our server was very attentive, patient and welcoming. The food was so delicious. It's difficult to find a really good salad at a restaurant and they hit it out of the park!

Zest is a really fun place to dine - great drinks, delicious food, and a nice atmosphere. We had the loaded pub chips, quinoa and kale salad, and empanadas. All excellent! The drinks are amazing - the bartender Barry does a really nice job with the drinks. Our server, Christina, was super friendly and helpful with menu suggestions. We'll definitely be back!

When you step in the door, it has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to relax after work or a day off. Don't be afraid to ask for the dinner menu at lunchtime. They have a cocktail menu and beers on tap.

The food and drinks were amazing! We ordered a burger, the catfish dinners, and an appetizer with these chips and BBQ pork on them, and they were phenomenal! Not to mention, our bartender Barry was pretty great with his dry sense of humor and great attention to detail. The owner, Carrie, came out and spoke with our group and showed us the place, and shared all the history of the building. They helped save this building from being torn down it's one of the oldest two story buildings left in Bartow. Definitely recommend!

We tried the Sleepyhead burger and the Chicken and Shells which were both delicious. You can choose the temperature of your burger and the egg which was fun. The Chicken and Shells is a cajun style creamy pasta with fresh ingredients which was the star of the show. The restaurant is fresh and well located. The staff is really nice and the owner checked on our table personally. Great job on your new location!

We met at Zest for lunch as a work group. I was able to make reservations the day before and our table was marked as reserved when we arrived. Calling in was easy, and the person I spoke with was very polite. While I can’t remember her name, our server was attentive and friendly. The food was great! I had a simple bacon cheeseburger. The meat seemed like a good quality and was seasoned perfectly on a brioche bun. We shared loaded chips for the table as a starter. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals which included the fish sandwich, the triple decker sandwich, the southwest burger, Caesar salad, and beef empanadas. The atmosphere is relaxed. I look forward to returning to try more things.

BEST BURGERS! We got the Classic with all the extras and the Ruben Burger! Definitely recommend! We will be back! 😋

Stopped in for dinner with friends after attending SyFy Bartow. I had a burger topped with BBQ pulled pork. It was delicious. Reagan, our server was amazing. She was so friendly and provided us with excellent service. If you are in Bartow I highly recommend stopping here for a bite to eat.

Our first time eating at Zest and it was a great experience. Service was prompt and my Zest Burger was delicious. Love the cleanness of the dining room and bathroom. Lovely atmosphere.

Actual good real hamburgers and fries. So many franchises try to hamburger these days. This place does it well and without being a franchise. And it's right downtown a few minutes from the house. Good to know.

Dinner night out with the girls (Wife and Grand Daughter). Place was clean and fresh looking. Server was very polite and helpful. Atmosphere was calm and pleasant. We ordered 2 regular American cheese burgers and fries. The burgers where off the chain good!!! seasoned well and cooked to order perfection. Would decently recommend to anyone. Nice little night out in Bartow FL.

Wait staff are attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is good and the place is clean. Quality selection of items on the menu and everything tried so far has been good. Prices are in line for today's standard non fast food restaurant, but regular drinks such as coke and tea are a little higher than the norm. I would suggest you give the place a try and don't think you will be disappointed.
