Came from out of town for a fishing trip and this was the closest live bait shop we found - I’m glad we did. Awesome people in here and the live shrimp, mud minnows and blue crab were perfect. Jess the owner was awesome and her crew were all so helpful. Beautiful shop.

This place is a treasure. I am not the best or most knowledgeable fisher person, but I always get great service here. I went in yesterday to buy some shrimp and some hooks and I overheard another customer. He was doing some crabbing with his family and was looking at nets. Did they try to talk him into the most expensive one they had, that he was looking to get? They did not. They went into detail how a cheaper net would suit him! I love that they worked with him and got what he NEEDED.

Great store, great people! Wear a mask for their health as well as yours and don't complain about common sense.

If you haven’t been to the New Arlington Bait and Tackle you are missing out. Dan and Jess have brought new energy to the whole plaza. The store is being remodeled and looks amazing. Best tackle shop in town!

Great little family owned and operated bait shop.

They have just about everything you need to fish the river near by so you don't have to drive across town for bait and supplies.

Just a heads up, they are being very cautious right now with covid protocols so you may end up waiting outside for a bit before you can enter.

Dan and Jess are great, they stayed open late on a Saturday when I know they have been there all day. Professional and courteous. Good people to have conversation with and very helpful! I was able to put the boys on some nice trout. Thanks again!!!

This is the bait shop in Jax. The owners are super nice and have everything you could want!

I came in a week ago, forgot my wallet, and paid in all change. They were still so kind and accommodating while I counted out $7 in change 😂. When I visited yesterday, they were incredibly welcoming and talkative. We had a few laughs and I enjoyed getting to meet the other staff and regulars of the shop. Wish there were a few more bait shops in town, since ABT is closed a couple of days during the week. However, for now this will be our go to on any days that they’re open!

I am delighted, to say that the new ownership is the best. I am the owner of GQ2 BARBERSHOP. I had an outing for my family and customers. ABT supplied tackle and about 8 lbs of shrimp everyone had a wonderful time and thanked me and ABT for the experience,
