Not just my puppy's first dog park experience, but mine as well. Other than seeing/meeting other dogs I didn't know what to expect, but am pleased with what we experienced - nice people, and nice dogs. Speaking from a lack of dog park visits I don't know how important my observations are, but here goes...
Large (huge) area for dogs to run around and chase balls in an area covered by wood chips. The outer perimeter has what appears to be a walking path which we circled once to give my little one a chance to sniff and look around before going off-leash. Multiple waste cans placed around the walking path as well as a well designed water station. There's also a nice spacious green area to one side of the main area, but I couldn't say whether or not if it's kept green year 'round.
An overall very positive experience. We met some very nice dogs & people and we look forward to going back again 😀
Update: I've been reluctant to post a more current review, but feel that in the interest of safety it is necessary.
We did go back and this visit was entirely different (as could be expected since they're not the same dogs every time). During this visit we encountered a couple guys that had 2 large dogs (one looked to be part Husky) that were rescue dogs. I think as one might expect it's a good idea to socialize them, but these dogs must have been given up for a reason. The Husky-looking dog attacked my little girl of 3 months so quickly it made my head spin. The owner was very quick to act before any real harm could be done, but it really was too late. This kind of thing can be traumatic for a small puppy and this many months later she doesn't want anything to do with bigger dogs.
I suppose I could go back, but every time I drive by I can't help but notice that large dogs are running around, completely unattended while a group of owners stand around in a huddle socializing. I guess everyone has very good insurance coverage because, make no mistake about it, I would sue the bloody socks off any owner that wasn't fully in control of their dog.

Love this dog park. Its fully fenced in and has a nice walking trail that goes around the majority of the park as well as benches to sit on around the trail. There are always plenty of dogs there, both large and small, so my dog has a lot of options for who he wants to play with. Most of the people there are friendly. My only complaint is that there isn't very much shade, so during summer it can get very hot!

This is a great dog park. My dog loves to go here, and I have never so much as seen any dogs get into a fight here. **knock on wood** We have been going here for about a year now. There are other dog owners here almost any time of day. There is a huge dirt parking lot to accommodate any influx of pet owners! Although, the park can get muddy during the rainy seasons there is a nice loop walkway around the main area where the dogs play. There is also a separate area for smaller dogs. Finally, there are a number of benches, poopy bag dispensers, and trash cans for your convenience. A great local dog park!

The meal was absolutely delicious, would definitely come again. Though I wish the meat was a bit more salted it tasted good regardless. The atmosphere was incredible, everything is incredible. The food was so good that the person next to me was absolutely screaming about how good it was saying stuff like "stop eating my dog!" She was literally running around yelling "Help! Help! That man is eating my dog" because the meal was so good. I'm definitely recommending this place to friends and family

My favorite dog park. It’s big, lots of room to run for the dog, a walking path around the bark area, grass area which most people don’t use so that’s nice to play on with my dog when he wants to play with the chuck it. There is a water bowl/fountain for dogs, garbage cans and poop bags. It’s kept up well too and always clean.

It's a very big space. Lots of room for the doggies to play. They also have doggie posts all around with baggie and a garbage bag. And they have a very big fountain watering hole for the pups!

Lots of space, lots of dogs, lots of friendly folks -- great dog park. I would probably hang out here even if I didn't have my dog.

Excellent park for dogs to play in. The people there with their dogs are great. The only complaints is the dog owners need to pick up their dogs poop.
