My husband and I decided to visit Woodstock last week. Sante was our splurge dinner. What a quaint place! We loved the decor and atmosphere. Fine dining without a huge bill. My whiskey sour was superb. Fresh and delicious. We ordered the biscuits with bacon and jalapenos butter... So good! Our entres were the seared Halibut over fresh spinach, and dessert was a baked apple with Carmel, marscipone, and pecans. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors were beautiful. Service was excellent! If we are in the area again we will definitely go back.

10/10, five stars, best meal you’re going to find! Ohhhh man, where to start? Sante had a comfortable farm to table atmosphere, and you walk in to the staff busily helping guests. We were greeted so quickly by both the host and the owner Matt. He and his staff were all so friendly and quick to ask how our evening was going, and checked up on our food throughout the night. My husband had an old fashioned and said it was the best he’s ever had; I’m pregnant so I was only able to enjoy a mocktail, which was so good too. The meal was SO FRESH. Get the mangalitsa! Locally farmed and incredibly flavorful. I don’t have enough good things to say about our experience at Sante. Just go here for yourself.

Fantastic farm to table restaurant! Limited menu but whats there is quality. Had ricotta toast with onion jam & the steak frites. Both were very good, steak cooked perfectly with a great bernaise sauce! Friendly attentive staff with a nice cozy setting & chill atmosphere. Will definitely come back anytime im in the area!

Dinner was absolutely delicious. Steak frites with bearnaise sauce and crispy potatoes - just perfect. Black Sea bass crudo- fennel, blood orange, blood orange ponzu, toasted pecan, micro cilantro, also incredible. Highly recommend the dark side of the moon cocktail. Will definitely return.

Beautiful and simple design. The food is always really good. We love the crab toast. The staff is helpful and friendly. Peanut allergy friendly which we really appreciate. We will be back.

I really liked this cozy restaurant. Nice atmosphere, delicious food and perfect service. I had “roasted beets, whipped feta, hazelnuts and honey” and “Vermont rabbit, Parisian gnocchi, crispy mushrooms, Parmesan” - I’m not allergic to anything so it was perfect choice for me👌 I’ll recommend to try roasted beets, interesting combination, it was very delicious 😋

Delicious new restaurant specializing in tapas (my favorite!) We have been looking forward to their opening since dining at Mangalitsa (same owner) last year. Santé surpassed our high expectations—everything we had was delicious and unique, from the Croatian wine to the Basque cheesecake. Friendly service, beautiful space, and creative food and wine—Santé checks all the boxes! We will be back soon!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this restaurant! This is ALWAYS A “go to” for any occasion but especially when we have family and friends in from out of town. The super fresh farm to table ingredients are just the beginning…add imaginative cocktails and the tapas style dining and it’s a perfect evening for us.

The BEST dining experience in all of Vermont. Exquisite gourmet menu of creative small plate dishes with fresh farm-to-table produce grown by the owner. The ambiance is perfection and the staff and owner are the friendliest. This is my new favorite!

THE.BEST.FOOD. I've ever had. My party drove over an hour to experience this amazing farm to table spot. There was such attention to detail with each of the dishes we tried. The menu changes with what comes available but if they have the mandarin cornbread, get it. The bacon in my dish melted in my mouth with the most delicious flavor. Not all bacon is created equal. We also tried a maple lemonade, outstanding. The pecan pie was something from a distant memory, like the one Aunt Edna used to make for family holidays...but better. The servers were friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. The space was smaller but never felt crowded or loud. Absolutely loved it.

I’ve been to Sante multiple times over the last year+ and each time dinner is simply delicious. The dishes are primarily tapas size, the flavors are layered, memorable and unique, there are many choices to mix and match and the cocktail/wine menu is varied and creative. It’s most fun to go with someone or a few people and sample a few choices.
My most recent favorites are the Brussel sprouts (light,airy, memorable), the cheddar biscuits with bacon jam (to die for), the fish tacos and the sweet potato pancake (need again) with a seared pork belly!!!
It’s best to make reservations as it’s a small space, but big enough not to feel cramped, think cozy. It’s a bit pricey, but honestly the most unique and best tasting meal in the area. You will thank yourself for going and plan a return visit as soon as you walk out the door.
The servers are attentive, polite and helpful. Woodstock is so lucky to have such a talented chef/owner/team.

Walk in, ate at the bar on a Friday evening, Rose delivers understated but genuine service, burger was great, fries even better, but WARNING - the Basque cheesecake is literally the best thing ever!, Seriously!

Took my parents for my moms birthday. Cocktail was meticulously crafted and a unique take on one of my favorites.

We ordered crab toast, octopus filled with sausage, and steak. It was all fantastic and well presented.

This restaurant was great! I forgot to take pictures because the food was so good.
We had the salad with the cauliflower which was delicious. The roasted beet salad was fantastic, it was tasty and warm. I never had anything like it! The duck wings were great, they were big pieces.
Service was good, they take walk-ins, but get there early because it gets packed.
Cozy atmosphere!

Fantastic farm-to-table bistro on the main thoroughfare through Woodstock. This ideal addition to the town's culinary scene offers up delicious cheeses, Red Hen's ridiculously good bread, crab toast, and insanely addictive sliders. The cocktails and beer selection are superb.

This is a smallish venue, with about 8-10 tables and a sizeable bar indoors, plus four tables outdoors. The ambiance is suitable for a quick bite/drinks with friends or a romantic spot for two. Service is excellent.

They don't take reservations, but any wait times encountered are very short.

Relaxed and understated atmosphere with excellent dining experience. Cocktails and food were both fantastic.
