For Keeps Coffee & Bakery

For Keeps has been my boyfriend & I's coffee home since they opened!! The aesthetic is beautiful, the coffee and teas are delicious, and their pastries are to die for. My boyfriend buys many scones weekly, and we stop in for a drink at least twice a week.
It's the perfect study space, or just the perfect place to catch up with a friend or two. Walking into For Keeps serves as an immediate rush of happiness and peace. Bring your homework, your boardgame, your meeting, or a friend--all have a place here.
They are only open until 5pm, which is sad. The parking situation is also a little rough, but not rough enough to keep people from coming back.
Their jazz nights are also amazing! I've been to every one they've had and it has always been such a fun night out. Live jazz, a delicious one-night-only menu, and great company. I recommend For Keeps to everyone and anyone!!

The atmosphere is one of the best for coffee shops. It also is not as loud as most coffee shops. There is no drive thru and I think that is a plus as it’s not a frenetic coffee shop. Great selection on coffee the Congo had great notes and the baked goods are really good. They also have a good syrup selection and dairy alternatives. The cinnamon honey vanilla is a great addition to cold or hot coffee. Overall really good coffee and baked goods. A good addition would be to create a specialty drink or two to the menu.

With the arched seating booths blanketing the back wall, lighting fixtures casting vertical shades of yellow, wood furniture and gold decor, it gives you the impression that you’ve just walked into a secret oasis straight out of a fictional literary masterpiece. Something you may have read as a kid or teenager, and are just now seeing for the first time.

The coffee is on point, the service is speedy, and the ambience is a touch of perfection. Toss in a designated work-station bar at the back, an outdoor patio and a roll-up garage door seamlessly connecting the inside and outside spaces and you have a recipe for a lovely coffee house.

Totally digging this spot, the ambiance is great. The Scone was White Chocolate Raspberry and it was delicious. The scone was one of the best I’ve had. The Vanilla Latte was swell as well.

My only knock was parking. That being said I’ll be back to check out @HoneyCombCigars next door too.

Very open seating with lots of spots from bar to booth and regular chair seating. There is patio seating outdoors as well for when it is warmer and sunnier outside!

Really enjoyed the pour over coffee I had and I’m not usually a coffee drinker but the staff did an excellent job explaining which coffees were darker roast and made excellent recommendations for me to try. I enjoyed their everything bagel with a side of butter. Please note parking is limited in their main lot but they have a side lot with the chiropractor next door and you can also parallel park on the side street parking areas.

For Keeps has quickly become one of our favorite coffee shops in the Waco area! The drink selection is great, the food always smells amazing, and the atmosphere is friendly, bright, and airy. My husband and I love remote working from their shop and there are plenty of seats in their space. The baristas are kind and welcoming, it really is the best place for coffee, hangs, or work!

Amazing coffee shop hidden off bosque. Very specific coffee importer with some of the highest quality equipment that lends to the perfect cup. On top of that, their prices come out nearly the same as Starbucks. Without question, the best coffee and atmosphere in Waco.

For Keeps is a new coffee shop in Waco that is 100% worth visiting. The atmosphere is fantastic and provides the perfect setting for a relaxing cup of coffee. The interior is cozy and inviting, with plenty of seating options to choose from.

Me and some of my friends got a sneak peak of the coffeeshop before it opened, and I was blown away.

The service at For Keeps is outstanding. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your coffee experience. They are knowledgeable about their coffee offerings and happy to answer any questions you may have.

But what really sets For Keeps apart is their coffee. The coffee is excellent, made with high-quality beans and expertly prepared. Whether you're in the mood for a latte, cappuccino, or a simple drip coffee, you won't be disappointed.

Great coffee, awesome vibes. Would recommend for anyone who’s in Waco and likes to spend some time in a new coffee spot. Love the small business feel and great job with everything. Does get a little loud inside but other than that it’s great. Food is good too, freshly made everyday!

I love this coffee shop. One of my favorite places to study and hang out with friends. The coffee is fantastic, and the aesthetics are phenomenal. I highly recommend the house latte and pour steady! I love the variety of blends they have available.

Great little cafe! Ordered a cortado with sparkling water. Amazing.

Lovely atmosphere! It was exciting watching the build out thru social media and then get to feel it in real life! The baristas were friendly and patient. We found a good size table to spread ourselves out at to work and let the kids have their own space at the bar by the wall. Pastries were DELICIOUS! I’m easy to please when it comes to coffee but word on the street it they serve a high quality cup of joe. My vanilla latte was perfect in my opinion. A coffee shop is only as good as it’s restroom facilities. The restroom has got to be one of the best places to take a dump. The workers are also excellent in service and ability

A haven for coffee connoisseurs!

Nestled in the heart of Waco, For Keeps is an absolute gem for coffee aficionados seeking an extraordinary caffeine experience. They combine the art of specialty coffee with the mastery of the revolutionary Pour Steady coffee maker, creating a truly memorable experience. My Barista Elvia was very helpful and gave excellent recommendations.

If you are passing through Waco like myself, it’s a must stop.

Everything we tried was great, but what really stood out were the bagels. These things are wonderful. Just the right amount of chewy with a great flavor. Waco doesn't have many good bagel options and this place should capitalize on that by expanding their bagel menu. I've been bringing the everything bagel home and adding smoked salmon to it any chance I can get when they aren't sold out. It's the best thing ever.

I love coming in here! I meet friends or often come to study, often bringing my dog, who is a service dog in training. He's only about nine months old (at the time of writing this post), so he's a little rambunctious sometimes, but the staff is always so kind to him when I come in and is super respectful of the fact that he's still a puppy but is in training to help me. They all know his and my name and love to say hi to him if he is off-duty. It's such a welcoming and kind environment, and anyone who has trained a dog especially to this extent knows how hard stressful it is to keep them behaving in that puppy stage. Also I love the pastries and drinks. Incredible London fog and tea selection, so those are always a must. My favorites are the cinnamon rolls.

Great new Waco coffee shop. Espresso was excellent. Alternative milk options, baked goods, and lots of seating.
