Chicken pho soup and jalapeño chicken clay pots are our favorites but there are way more delicious items on the menu. On this cold day we had pho chicken soup and peach tea!

Great new remodel. The place looks great. Chris was our waiter and he was friendly and prompt. Great service. The Pho with brisket was great. The broth was very soothing. Like a hug from the inside. The chicken fried rice was very good and unlike some places they do use egg and you can see it. Overall everything was great!

I tried the Pho with shrimp as the protein. Since it was to go, I reheated the broth in the microwave. Added the vermicelli first, then the broth and vegetables.

I wanted to try the broth before adding the Sriracha sauce, Hoisin sauce, and soy sauce. I have not slurpped anything in a while, and I am glad I was not the restaurant. I would put the broth on most dishes.

I wasn't sure I would enjoy the Pho, but now I look forward to trying more versions.

Okay, gave this place another chance and it didn't disappoint. Last time I came to this place was in 2021 and didn't come back until today. I like that we can simply order now at front. I realized I didn't give enough chance to explore this place more. I got pho and I would say that even they didn't give the usual toppings to the pho (Thai basil, sprouts, pepper etc), I'd grade it A- for the broth. I only tried the beef brisket though. I'll try the beef tenderloin next time and maybe it will be A+. We will see, I still like Sugar Spice pho, so this really comes as a tie since they didn't serve the toppings. The vermicelli bowl is great too, the pork meat is fantastic! But again, it's missing the chopped spring rolls toppings and the vinegar sauce. The meat is really good though! I just don't like that they use a larger noodles in the vermicelli bowls. The dumplings look and taste authentic like homemade. Altogether, a great experience and evening. They have a patio at the back too, nice place to get away and not feel you're in an Asian fastfood.

Really nice staff. Let us try the sake first before ordering it. Food was delicious and a good size portion. Little bummed the Spicy Broccoli didn't have much broccoli in it. But that about the only negative. Highly recommend.

First time, so pleasantly surprised. The entree selections were varied and great. Lots of members of our group had different things and really loved each meal. The curry was a favorite, and the chicken with rice dish was also a highlight. I would definitely return many times.

We had an amazing experience and plan on visiting again. The food was great, the tea was delicious, and I love that the kids menu was accommodating. This is such a gem for the town of Waco. The staff, the service, and the environment was pleasant. We ordered a lot I think but we are it all, it was good and something different in Waco. The is parking in the street, and there was available parking on the side of the building. Located in the downtown area of Waco, the restaurant is easy to find and see from the road. The entrance has a ramp which is great for wheelchair accessibility. Some tables and chairs are movable to make it possible and easy for wheelchair access. It's always great when you find/see that a restaurant is accessible for everyone. It was great, we will be back, and definitely recommend this place.

Was second in line for the reopening and the decor was beautiful! It was lovely as was our waiter and food. I ordered the pho w/meatball and wanted a 32 oz bowl but I believe they only serve that size for dinner so I got a 20 oz instead. For $11 it was delicious and very filling definitely check them out!

This place is VERY GOOD. The Pho broth is exceptional. We will definitely be coming back here. The shrimp is amazing I just wouldn’t get the mango Shrimp rolls. I love Mango and Shrimp but they just don’t simple go together.

We stopped for lunch on our way home and Clay Pot did a great job. We wanted to have something different and this Waco institution hit the spot. We all order Pho which was perfect on a cold day. The vegan pho was fantastic. The others had chicken or shrimp and all really enjoyed it. The hot tea hit the spot as well. Service was good and fast.

Wonderful restaurant. I've been coming here since 2008 when it was a BYOB off I-35. The food is all wholesome and you can feel how healthy it is. Always brings back memories of really good times when I was younger.

Absolutely wonderful customer service. All the staff that we interacted with had smiles and a great warm welcoming vibe.

The food was wonderful. Girlfriends first time having any Pho. She was ecstatic! Absolutely wonderful food. The restaurants atmosphere was very calm. The location is in the heart of Waco with parallel parking and a small parking lot right next to it. Overall an amazing and memoriable experience.

Highly recommend

Had a good lunch here with my brother today!
Got lemon grass stir, clay pot, spring roll and curry 🍛.
Lemon 🍋 grass was a bit spicy for us but the taste was good! Clay pot was a bit different than I imagined but it was good with sweet savory stuff. Spring roll with peanut 🥜 sauce was good with housin sauce and chill sauce! My favorite one was curry 🍛
It wasn’t too spicy nor missing of anything so I recommend this one!
There are many foods with vegetarian 🌱 options so come get the one of your choices 😊☺😇😁
Cheers 🥂

What a wonderful "local flavor" gem in downtown Waco!
I have never had Vietnamese food before, but am always open to try new things. My 13 year old son wasn't sure about this at all....he wanted a cheeseburger or Mexican lol.
We loved the atmosphere, decor and wonderful smell we encountered as soon as we walked in the door.
Our waiter was fun and nice. He was informative and helpful.
My son and I tried Stan's Clay Pot with chicken, my husband had Stan's Clay Pot with shrimp, my cousin had Lemongrass Chicken.
My son and I absolutely loved our dish. My 13 year old is ready to come again! My cousins Lemongrass was wonderful as well. Perfect little place!!!

Our first time at Clay Pot. We had egg rolls, spring rolls and meatballs as appetizers. The meatballs were the best. For the main course, we had pho, vermicelli, and shrimp fried rice. The shrimp in our food was large and cooked right. Highly recommend.

Tasty?! Filling?! Delicious??!!
I've had the same dish each time, and it's so good, the meat is almost chocolatey(?), and the sauce is good. And ohhhh, the cold matcha tea is addicting. Might be one of my new favorite places in Waco!
