Thistle Rock Ranch

My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed an extended stay at Thistle Rock Ranch. What a marvelous place! The host couple is a delight and have been more than attentive to our needs. Our house is privately nestled among small hills and fields of Hill Country, offering us peace and quiet. It is spacious, modern and well-appointed with a fully equipped kitchen and quality bed and bath linens. The property is good for exploring and country walks among dozens of heritage oaks and stacked stone fences. You'll be more than entertained by tree-climbing goats and playful chickens that offer plenty of fresh eggs!

Bruce and Jenny are excellent hosts. My son loved the animals. The house was amazing. We will definitely stay there again next time we are in Austin.

Texas Hill Country Oasis with optional farm experiences (chickens and goats). Marvelously friendly hosts and a lovely pool. Great location not too far from Austin but with a much slower feel. Would highly recommend

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding on Thistle Rock Ranch, and wow, what a location! The grounds are gorgeous and the owners are lovely and kind people -- I would definitely recommend this as an AirBNB space or beautiful outdoor Texas venue to anyone.
