Favorite place EVERRR. I am honestly so sad I only went here on the last day of my trip.
The atmosphere 5⭐, it’s so cozy and inviting. I could definitely see myself coming back with friends, coworkers, or even working by myself. Such a great spot.
The coffee was SO AMAZING! I’m going to order the espresso so I can have it when I’m not in Charleston haha. I asked the barista for a recommendation and she recommended her favorite which was a honey vanilla latte. SO GOOD! It was so creamy and delicious. If you can’t tell - I really liked it haha.
They had bakery items I didn’t try because I’m gluten free but woooo I definitely was tempted haha.

Convenient location with a modern, romantic aesthetic! A great place to stop and work on your laptop, grab a quick bite, or order a coffee to go. My oat milk latte was delicious and the service was friendly and fast, even with a line of customers. Plenty of seating between 11:00-1:00 when I was there on a Friday.

great atmosphere and great cappuccino, good matcha too. nice guys behind the bar. Hummus is also good. beautiful interior, I recommend it!

Unique drinks, unique bakery goods, very classy and beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. We tried the Pb+B special and the Almond Joy special and they were both AMAZING!! The pineapple coffeecake was also very tasty and had such great flavor. The prices are reasonable and the location is prime.

Love love love this place, have been to probably most of Charleston cafes and this is one of my favorites. Their cappuccino has a cute latte art and their coffee cake is to die for. Cookies they serve are also amazing. The place is cozy and service is super nice!

I’ve been in many coffee shops around my life, but there’s something about Clerks that just makes it THE place to go for coffee in Charleston.

Baristas are super nice! Specially Haley, that day I couldn’t tip (money’s running low) but she was still so nice! Came the next month to tip her double for the same incredible coffee!

Cannot recommend this place enough! 10/10

Took my boyfriend here because he loves a good cold brew, and Clerks was so good! They had such yummy lunch items, snacks, and bakery items and the atmosphere was so chill. We ate and played tic-tac-toe while waiting for our food. It has a very cute aesthetic, so it's perfect for the brunch girls/guys who love to get a good picture in! 📸

My new favorite coffee shop in downtown Charleston. We tried quite a few coffee places and this one stood out. Had a latte and chocolate croissant. Latte was perfect and the warmed up croissant was delicious. The best we found.

If you do not like sweet coffee, then this is the place for you. Ordered ice mocha and it tasted good, just a bit bitter. Good atmosphere.

Loved my latte! I got an iced lavender latte with almond milk and it was perfect. Loved the vibe and there seemed to be ample seating.

When visiting Charleston and experiencing the food scene I was surprised to find that there wasn’t much variety of quality in the coffee across the city as well, but Clerks was a bright spot! Out of all the coffee we had this was by far the best, from the friendly Baristas, to the quality of their homemade syrups, to the excellence of the espresso as well we were pleasantly surprised and came back for more. This is the perfect spot to snag a cup of coffee and walk around the market. If you’re a coffee snob like us visiting Charleston, I highly recommend this shop!

This is such a neat coffee shop attached to an upscale, boutique hotel. Staff was great and friendly. Drinks were good. They have a La Marzocco espresso machine, which is one of the best in the industry. If ever in Charleston again, we would definitely come back here!

SUPER cute and instagrammable coffee shop, as is the rest of the hotel it’s located in. There’s also plenty of seating (and a nice variety too) with lots of outlet access if you’re looking to study or do work on a laptop.

We actually stumbled upon this place and decided to check it out. My fiancé loves to try coffee shops and this one didn’t disappoint! It has such an amazing vibe and the coffee is made with care and knowledge.

It is connected to the Emeline hotel, but it has its own space so you don’t feel like you’re in a hotel. Now it’s a place we will go every time we’re in town:)

The first thing that catches your attention is how cute this coffee shop is and that they allow dogs inside! After I had my 1st lavender espresso I ordered another one to go because this was by far the best coffee I have had EVER!! I also appreciate that they have milk alternatives, this was difficult to find in other coffee shops in Charleston.

Watch out Starbucks. There’s an amazing coffee shop in Town. Great atmosphere plenty of seating. The lavender lemonade refresher is worth a try. Definitely will be taking my wife here the next time we are both downtown.

Super adorable coffee shop! The barista was super nice! The iced coffee was delicious but sweet, next time will be asking for a little less sweetner.

The Dirty Chai Latte was amazing. I think it’s my new favorite drink. Clerks is a great place to have a coffee or tea or to chill out and get some work done.
