I needed to send my grand piano from Wisconsin to Germany. Another freight company that was recommended to me gave me an estimate but was unable to move the piano which was ready for shipping at the Piano dealer/storage facility, it was sitting there for more than 6 weeks, they never told me why and mostly did not respond to emails and phone calls.
Within maybe 2 days of contacting Midwest consolidators, they had a good quote for the cost and after I gave the go ahead, they picked up the piano immediately, and it arrived about 10 days later in Germany (with vanguard logistics and their German partner, MBS logistics). They kept me updated with every step they were doing.
I cannot recommend these guys more highly!

These guys are nice people who understand that Logistics is a service business. Also have attractive rates for warehousing and local delivery. They are part of the Vanguard Network so they can move freight just about everywhere in the world. I would definitely recommend them for any international transport project.
