Bowl Thyme

First time here. I got there right when they open so the place was empty. As I enjoyed my meal a few came in to order while a couple others did the drive thru window instead. I thought my January special bowl, lemon chicken quinoa bowl, was excellent. Need to be a little lighter on the oil, but the ingredients were all fresh and a great combination of flavors. Had typical fountain drinks and some snacky foods you can grab. Kids menu available as well.

I’m very impressed with this restaurant! My husband and I decided to give it a try on New Year’s Day and we were floored that the entire place was running with just one young lady manning the counter and all the cooking! She was super polite and friendly and our food was delicious too!!! The place is very clean. The food is great! Portions large! Lots of choices! And Bowl Thyme that young lady today deserves a raise!!

My favorite place for healthy “fast food.” Ingredients are always fresh, food comes hot, and I can barely make a dent before I’m full of superfoods. Highly recommend the Santa Fe steak salad, the steak is tender, greens are fresh and crunchy, and the toppings are flavorful enough I forgot to use my dressing.

Bowl Thyme is seriously one of a kind!! Healthy tasty and fast!! I love the chicken mashed potato bowl!! Green beans have a ton of flavor everything blended very well and sat in my stomach really nice!! Must check out!!

Great food and service never ate in the restaurant but I've ordered this almost every day for the past couple weeks I've gotten breakfast and lunch there not a fan of the milkshakes though but great food and customer service

Absolutely love 💕 the menu!!!! They have a dish to satisfy anyone's taste buds, even make your own bowls! The food is fresh, staff is friendly!!! Worth it!!

First time but not the last! This place has it all! Great staff, was very helpful and made sure we had everything to eat this at a park! I got the chicken parm and it was AMAZING!! Portion was so big I could only eat half!!

This is amazing!! There’s so many awesome pre-made options along with many different things to put in one you build. The customer service and the bowl are everything you could ask for especially for the price! Will be back again for sure

Went with my family and got 4 create-your-own bowls and they were all delicious. Salmon is amazing and well seasoned, the tofu is great, well cooked and tastes good, the broccoli hash is flavorful, honestly SO many options to choose from for whatever bowl you’re getting… Great ingredients and lots of time and care is obviously put into everything made! This place is new and deserves some more customers, worth every penny.

One of my favorite places in the area to stop for lunch. All the workers are very kind and helpful. My favorite thing to get is the steak and potato bowl along with their garlic bread. They have really good dole whip smoothies also.

Had the quinoa tofu bowl. Delicious! As a vegan, I have a hard time finding things to eat when not at home. Very happy to find Bowl Thyme - I’ll be back!

I have been to Bowl Thyme three times now and I am always satisfied and impressed. The steak and potato bowl is my favorite so far, but the fiesta chicken one is a close second. The steak is seasoned well and fairly tender. Potato's, broccoli, green beans and whatever else was in there I have no complaints at all with. The food overall is seasoned just right and there are plenty of bowls to choose from. If you want something different than what is on the menu you can customize your own bowl down to just about every detail. Those lightly fried chicken and cheese bites are a must every time I go as well. The interior of the restaurant is very nice as well with nice tables and a fire place that adds a really nice atmosphere. The employees area always a pleasure to talk to as well while your food is being made. I sure hope word gets out more about this place because they deserve more business to keep them around. Sure beats the other fast food options in town.

I have eaten here many many many times .. a few times eat in but mostly take out. The food is always hot and delicious. The service is great. I can't say one unfavorable thing about this place.

This is my first thyme trying this healthy eating restaurant,and let me tell you I am not dissatisfied or disappointed. I purchased the steak an potato bowl and it also has green beans and broccoli and everything is absolutely fresh. I will definitely eat here again. Absolutely amazing

Four of us stopped here for dinner last Thursday night, it was very good! I had the Alfredo Chicken, just enough portion wise, very creamy and tasty. My husband got the chicken parm. He said the chicken was fresh and the noodle was cooked perfect. I’m not sure what the others had, something with steak, but I heard no complaints! We will be back👍

VERY IMPRESSED! Way to go. A great spot in small town Ohio. I grew up in Ohio, but I currently live in Portland, Oregon. In Portland, my partner and I own a few businesses including a coffee shop and a cafe. As business owners and consumers, I think we have pretty high standards. Honestly, this spot was awesome. While visiting my mom, I stopped in for some quick lunch looking for an alternative to the same, boring, terribly unhealthy surrounding fast food places. I was so surprised by the variety and quality of food!

Side note—it’s a bummer that there is a 1-star review on here. I think the author of that review meant to say “quality” instead of “quantity”, but still, I don’t get it. I also don’t get the pricing concern. It may have gone UP in price from what it was, but the price that it currently IS is pretty low/normal for the quality given, even for small town Ohio. Honestly, my guess is that review is fake and/or retaliatory. Anyway…

Okay, so back to my review. There are so many options and foods here that would appeal to so many people. It’s essentially like the “chipotle” of local, house-made bowls of all kinds. I’d encourage you to build your own bowl and try out some of the unique toppings; candied jalapeños, carrot slaw, candied walnuts, etc. Apparently the ingredients/toppings are all (I think?) made in-house from scratch, which is wildly cool.

think it’s particularly unique that the concept is SIMPLE and yet does a great job appealing to everyone with different dietary restrictions/preferences. Vegans, vegetarians, gluten free, meat-eaters, etc. Foodies that may want a super healthy bowl would be happy. So would a meat and potato and pasta lover.

The price was right. The speed of preparation, customer service and “sense of urgency” was on point. The atmosphere and setting was really cool too! We got our food to go so we didn’t get to fully experience the space, but what I saw, I really liked.

This place is locally owned and they also owns another place in town. Also no, I’m not friends with them—even though It might seem like I am since I’m showing them major love right now! I just met one of the owner very briefly. Obviously I loved the place so much that I felt compelled to write this super long review.

I’m partial to businesses like this because I know first hand HOW HARD IT IS to open and maintain a business like this, stay true to your brand, please your customers, deliver a consistent product AND still live a life outside of their business. From what I can see here, they’re working really hard to nail it, and it’s WAY HARDER than the average joe thinks it is to have a place like this AND have it be successful.

But again, at the end of the day: the price is right, the food is great, the quality and options make it easier for almost anyone to enjoy, the customer service is great. Nothing to leave me disappointed.

Give it a try. I’d be very, very surprised if you left disappointed.

I got a salmon bowl and was delicious..it had flavored riced cauliflower with fresh made guacamole and chopped tomatoes. My husband got chicken parmesan bowl. He really liked too. He said the cheese and chicken very tasty good. Plenty of comfort food options or calories conscious items. It presented like an upscale chipotle restaurant. You can build your bowl however you want. The food is top quality. We will be back for the many other options.
