We had a wonderful experience here! The owner is very knowledgeable about rugs and gave us a great deal on a beautiful vintage rug, highly recommend!

I run a small non-profit that serves kids in the St. Nicholas area called The Pulse Ministries. We have been looking for a carpet or rug to cover our stage which was rebuilt over a year ago. One of our supporters came across Charley's advertisement for one free rug for any non-profit and she called me to let me know. She said they had 12x18 rugs which would be perfect for our stage.
I was excited!
I went to the showroom and found that the free rug offer was for a 3x5 area rug which wasn't large enough for the stage.
The 12x18 that we needed was simply way more than our budget would allow at this time.
Charlie began to ask me about the work I do with the kids and, long story short, he decided to make me an offer I could not refuse on the large 12x18 that I wanted.
It seems that Charlie Harb has a heart of gold. He told me that he is selling off his inventory because he is retiring and the money tied up in this inventory is for his retirement and still he is giving to those in need.
I don't know much but I know this, a person doesn't sacrifice for someone they don't know for selfish reasons, they must have a good, selfless heart to sacrifice for a stranger.

Since our oriental rug was a gift from my now deceased father it’s particularly precious to our entire family. The professionalism and care shown by the C. Harb’s Rugs was just what we needed to feel confident that our rug was in good hands. Not to only did we come away with interesting knowledge but we also never had to lug it to the store. We received-Convenient caring professional and knowledgeable service! Our beautiful rug was repaired and cleaned looking just like new. We will definitely use them again.

After exhausting online searches, I finally found the perfect rug for my new apartment at C Harb’s Rugs. Mr Harb was very courteous and patient and took his time helping me pick out the style I wanted. I was all over the place totally indecisive of what style or color I wanted. I was very grateful when he unrolled every single rug I pointed out. Giving me the chance to take picture, see them laid out and touch them to really get an idea of which one I preferred. At the end of the day, I ended up going with a different style than I originally planned and I’m very happy I did!

After spending most of the day shopping “big box Stores” not finding any rug desirable to us we were on our way home driving down Philips highway. Then we saw the sign for C. Harb’s Rugs. Made a U turn and drove back to the store. So glad we did, Charlie greeted us with a smile, ready to patiently assist us. After We told Charlie what we were looking for and what we had in mind he went into detail on the different styles and types of rugs. He then escorted us to the Back show room and showed us a variety Rugs in many different designs and prices. My wife and I found the exact size, style and color rug for our floor. When Charlie used The term “floor art” or “art for the floor” it actually influenced our decision on the design. We are very happy with our new rug, we highly recommend C. Harb’s Rugs.

Outstanding service. Charlie has cleaned our oriental rugs several times, including "resurrecting" them after flooding from Hurricane Matthew. They look better than when they were on my grandparents' floors 68 years ago! Fantastic service, quality work, superior results, all with a smile and a "thank you" from the owner. You will not find better service for cleaning nor anyone more knowledgeable for Oriental rugs than C. Harb's Rugs. We recommend them highly to all!!

My wife and I have been taking our rugs to Harb's since we arrived in St. Augustine in 2003. Back then. they were located at Jax Beach. Mr. Harb has always provided us with expert advice regarding our Orientals; and, he has always been very fair in the cost of cleaning our large and small rugs.
He has repaired 4 rugs that I inherited from my parents, and has given us appraisals on all the rugs we own for insurance purposes. Customer Service is at the very best whenever we are dealing with Charles.

We have purchased a small rug from Harb's, and plan on another purchase for our kitchen within the next few weeks.

No other dealer will receive our business, as we have been treated fairly and kindly for almost 15 years.

Mr. Harb has assisted our family on numerous occasions over the years with repairs, cleaning and when purchasing new rugs. Harb’s Rugs has a showroom replete with an extensive collection of rugs from fine new to exquisite antique rugs of all types and sizes. Mr. Harb always takes the time to educate his customers and personally pick-up and deliver the rugs: a service rarely found in modern times. Every encounter with him has been done with the utmost professionalism and a distinct pleasure from start to finish.

C. Harb's Rugs just completed some impressive restoration work on two rugs, one of which is over 30 years old. The repair on that rug merely resembles a small oddity or idiosyncracy in the weaving. It looks as good as new. The cleaning on that rug has been short of miraculous. No spots or stains are visible. Didn't think this was possible. This was all done by meticulous hand scrubbing. Not all Oriental rug cleaning/repair shops do such quality work.

Extremely pleased with the knowledge and service we received from Mr. Charles Harb. We visited his rug gallery and were awed with the selection and quality of rugs. After selecting a few that we thought would work in our home, Mr. Harb brought them to our home and laid them out so that we could actually see if we were sure of the color and quality which helped us with our final selections. His expertise was very helpful and his prices were fair. We will use his services in the future for any rug cleaning/repair needs and also to purchase additional rugs.

I trust no one other than C. Harb rugs with all my carpeting needs. I inherited a number of Oriental Rugs many years ago and have relied on C. Harb for their preservation for over 20 years. Mr. Harb has personally seen that my rugs remain mothproofed, cleaned, and when necessary repaired correctly. When I recently suffered from a fire in my kitchen and my living room and dining room were flooded by the fire department, he came to my home to retrieve them so they could be properly cleaned and any smoke damage removed. He also personally delivered them to my house, and lovingly laid them back in place. I recommend his services highly. He definitely gives his customers 5-star treatment!

We took our pale yellow rug to C Harb's Rugs to be cleaned after a New Year's party spill of a full glass of red wine. We expected to get it back with some signs of staining...it seemed impossible that it would all come out. A full glass...that broke and splattered all over. When we picked the rug up today, it looked brand new. There is no sign of the stain anywhere...simply amazing. He took his time, and made sure that every bit of the stain was gone. Exceeded our expectations totally. They really care about their customers and are passionate about carpets. You don't see this kind of dedication often...it is amazing. Highly recommend this business.

Each visit to C. Harb's is an educational experience in oriental rugs. We have several old family oriental rugs that C. Harb's take meticulous care of for us, so when we were ready to purchase our new rugs, we felt we could trust Mr. Harb to help us!

Mr. Harb spent a great deal of time with me and made himself available to answer all of my questions. He also took the time to tell me individual stories about certain rugs. He is patient, kind and fair. I will confidently recommend him to many people.

We had a rug that was oversized for our living room area. Charles did a great job cutting it down to the exact needed size, and finishing the edges (I think the technical term is "Surge"?). Price was fair, and we were impressed with the quality and professionalism.
