First and foremost, I have to thank David and his crew at Parnell Autowerks for selling me the coolest bus around. He was very honest throughout the entire process. He answered all of my questions, sent me pictures and videos to show that the van he was selling was spot on! I know that I have made a VW friend for life. Thunderdubb rolls on in Florida thanks to David and his crew!

There is nothing cooler to me than a classic beetle, and I got so lucky to find one that was in good shape to be my first car. I bought my gold 1974 Super Beetle almost 4 months ago now, and me and my Dad loved it so much that he went back to Parnell and bought a 1972 convertible Bug; not just because of our love for beetles but also to support and get to work with David again. He is so down to earth, and was so incredibly kind when we bought our cars. There is little me and my dad love more than our beetles! So if you want amazing customer service, or a incredible classic Volkswagen, Parnell’s is the place to go. We could not possibly be happier!

I simply MUST give a huge thank you to Dave and Steve at Parnell Autowerks. Our Beetle had many issues and the guys at Parnell absolutely crushed getting her back up and running. Full rewire and 12v conversion and she's like a brand new car. They kept us up to date on progress and issues they came across (we knew there would be many) Growing up in a family of mechanics, and being a light line tech myself I can tell you just how hard it is to find dedicated, passionate, honest quality people to work on cars. And Parnell is that shop. They were simply amazing and we definitely will be back to have more things done. Amazing job you guys we cannot thank you enough. Go see them. Buy a Beetle. Where do I begin ... Dave Parnell and Parnell Autowerks restored my faith in a truly honest automobile transaction from beginning to end. After previously buying a not as advertised VW beetle and selling it a a big loss, I again went searching for the just right VW beetle convertible .. came across a beauty at Parnell Autowerks, Bend, OR. The complete information and very thorough pictures provided, I was on the hook, and and after a phone conversation with Dave, I was on the hook, line, and sinker. Dave said I "would not be disappointed" and WOW !! was he correct. When he delivered the car it was exactly as advertised - I was not disappointed in the least. Dave was great at communication and provided information to all the questions I asked. I have such appreciation for his honesty, integrity, and his desire to provide awesome vehicles with full disclosure at a more than fair price. I will recommend Dave Parnell and his business to anyone in the market for an automobile transaction with integrity from the beginning to the end.

David and his so called mechanic were incredibly unprofessional and tried to put me in a compromise position basically trying to manipulate my van out of me they lied about contacting jerry they lied about what my van needed. they are not the Old Volks Home of the years past. they had my van for four days I was in there three times I didn’t see one wrench being used I didn’t see them working on anyone’s vehicle. I’m not sure what this is a business front for but it isn’t a mechanic shop. when I calmly brought many things to his attention after he’d had my vehicle for four days -he was full of excuses blame and then anger. Obviously his tactics did not work. my my van& i are safe from hm good central Oregon people did not let that happen the. I ran into another female that had a similar experience he didn’t fix her vehicle either but he Took her out to lunch drink 6 beers talked about personal issues tried to manipulate her vehicle out of her so he could sell it. Said the part she needed was unavailable. did not keep the contract of fixing the vehicle she got herself and her vehicle away from him. she took her car to another mechanic he got the part immediately and it is being fixed. he appears to pray on women and vulnerable situations these are two separate experiences they were very negative.
