Beautiful campground. Johnson County does an excellent job maintaining it. It is within walking distance to the Brazos River, with foothills surrounding it. Techies beware, there is very poor cell reception.

We love ham creek. We usually launch the boat here for fishing and skiing on the river. The camping is nice too. Staff are always friendly and helpful. It is a hidden gem in Johnson County. Come out and hike, camp, fish, water ski, stay for the day or stay for the week.

We had a blast as usual on our annual Easter camping trip! As always the park was clean & the bathrooms were clean. We were even treated to a few bluebonnets scattered around the area. This park has the best management of any park I've been to. We've been coming to Hamm Creek for probably a decade now, and I have never seen it as busy as it was this past weekend. Apparently Google reviews really work 😆

Underrated and not overly crowded.... This is the only public River access in the area and the park has lots of access points. Nice covered aluminum picnic tables, well maintained grassy areas, playground, bathrooms and easily accessible parking. RV and tent camping with fire pits close to covered picnic tables.

Had a Men's 33 study of Jesus Christ 33 years on earth! Great place this park has everything you need. Cost was great for everyone had over 25 men sharing the Word of God and his love for us through his Son Jesus Christ. Amen

Beautiful park. RV sites 1-5 are FHU, higher numbers are electric/water only.

The best kept secret in Texas. Advance campsites designed for pulling your boat through or parking out of your way. Sites are equally spaced out for privacy and shelter. Campsites, daysites, group pavilion and enough open park for any type of activities not to mention the boat ramp and fishing areas. A place you can truly enjoy with friends and family.

We went there a couple weeks ago with our Motorhome. We found the park very clean and very nice.
The woman at the gate was very helpful and went above and beyond to answer our questions. We would highly recommend this park.

Very beautiful view. We took back to school pictures and they turned out great! Shady, pretty, and the water looked nice! Very pleased, and only for 6$!

It's one of my favorite places to go fishing, taking the grandkids to play in the water!

GREAT folks! If they’re not in the office and you drop a $10 in the box, these people are so genuine they bring a slip to your vehicle telling to swing by the office foe your $1. The care matters even though the dollar doesn’t. Perfect boat ramps, clean bathrooms, very nice camping spots & very kind of fresh water fish that exists in the river to fish for. I’ve been here 50 times and will go back 250 more!

Quiet, peaceful, and tons of room for the kids to play and roam. It is very well maintained and staff is constantly coming around and checking on you. They take the trash out multiple times a day. All in all, I would highly recommend spending some time at Hamm Creek Park.

The park is so clean and well kept. My kids love the playgrounds and the room to run around, beware of the stickers- don't run barefoot. There are always many people that are fishing on river since it's easy to get to from the day use side of the park.

This park is perfect for families who want an uncrowded and clean area to camp out and and fish. It is very well kept with plenty of restrooms and picnic areas. The cost for overnight camping is quite a bit cheaper than the state parks. The Brazos River is right there with a boat ramp that is easily accessible. If you haven’t tried this place out, you’re missing out. The area is beautiful and peaceful and not a far drive from Cleburne.
