Fun for kids. Beds could be a little more comfy for adults. Maybe it was just our cabin. Despite that we had fun. Highly recommend. Would be better when water park is open!

Best place to go for all your different types of campers! We stayed in a grain silo and it was amazing. Much better than a regular hotel room and cheaper. The staff was friendly and attentive and got us checked in and on our way to our unit in just a few minutes!

Everything was pretty much perfect. I have already been highly recommending. Will return soon. My wife and 4 year old had an absolute blast every day. My only one complaint might be that room 184a has a light that shines directly into the bedroom. The curtain did not do enough to block out the harsh light. We hung a blanket. Other than that room was great!
Will be back very soon! Thank you

Although it rained we really enjoyed our short vacation (before school started back up). My 13 year old daughter actually enjoyed it too. We missed out on a few activities because of the rain, like the maze & Laser tag.

Instructions say being your own bags for corn hole, but that is for corn hole at your cabin. The store has corn hole bags for the public corn hole boards. Just ask.

We stayed in rustic cabin 8.
Cabin Pros:
Large room space
Plenty of counter space (we took a griddle to reheat/cook food on)
Lots of under counter space
"Courtyard" area behind the cabin
Restroom maximizes wall space

Cabin Cons:
Lighting is dim (for me)
light switches galore (some don't function and are in odd spaces)
Chairs & table are iron & heavy
No drawers
No hangers
These cabins are near the highway so lots of traffic noise. We were ok with it... just be aware.

The BEST vacation we've had in years...activities for all, cabins clean, decorated beautifully....for all ages. Workers helpful. It felt like home away from home. Planning our next trip already.! Reasonable and a perfect place for familys to bond and make fantastic memories...

Jellystone was fantastic! We stayed in a family cabin that was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us. The people who work there are welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a great variety of activities that appealed to our whole family (kids ages 10-17). The grounds are clean and well kept. We rented a golf cart to drive around the property which made it fun and easy to get around. It's outside the city but close enough for a weekend away. Highly recommend!

Our daughter had a Robotics competition in Dallas so we booked the weekend. The park is always clean and feels safe. We did many of the activities during our stay. The ropes course and rock wall were fun for the whole family.

We've been to North Texas Jellystone 5 times now, and our most recent trip was the best yet. The grounds were so well kept. Our kids fished for hours in the pond. The new activities barn is massive and there is always something going on. The addition of the ropes course and rock climbing wall were a pleasant surprise. We were there three full days and needed more time!

As always, we had so much fun the weekend of Halloween!!! Although half the park was shut down for flooding, we still were able to have so much fun with all the activities!! Both my 2 year old and 7 year old had a blast! It was my 7 year olds birthday on the 28th, the day of the dance party. At the dance party, there were multiple people that went above and beyond but the main one was a girl named Hailey! She was doing the sparkly face painting. She went so above and beyond with being so kind to my daughter. She spent time letting my daughter come up with a design, never rushed her but smiled the whole time and constantly made conversation with her. Her attitude absolutely made me want to cry, to see a young person be so kind to our daughter was honestly priceless. She made our daughters birthday so much more special. We LOVE Jellystone, but would keep coming back due to that single positive interaction!!! Thank you Hailey!!!!!!! You are an angel!

I had a great weekend camping. The cozy cabins are right off the highway (had some friends stay there) and were a bit noisy. The tent sites are right next to the lake and a little further back from the highway so naturally quieter. There was plenty of both free and paid activities to keep everyone busy. Note that things like the fire truck ride or hay ride can have LONG lines where you’re waiting 45 mins to an hour.

Even though it looks massive, the park is very walkable. About 12 minutes from end to end.

Also note that restrooms for camping, while super clean, aren’t that conveniently located. I found it easier to drive there versus the 7-8 min walk each time.

Spent Christmas with my family (4 small kids) and my brother, his wife and their son. Room was clean and had enough space for all. The park has plenty of open space to take in nature and the kids loved the activities. We will likely be back in summer.

UPDATED EDIT- I was invited out to the park again to make up for the trip we had last and to do the activities we missed out on. The difference was night and day, the service was amazing and because there were way less people there we basically had a majority of the camp to ourselves most of the time. I would definitely recommend going during off season on a non-holiday weekend if you are interested in going. We were able to do everything we wanted to do and didn't have any issues! Thank you again to Jellystone North Texas for letting us have a much better experience and make it more appealing to book again!

Original post- Chose this trip as a Christmas gift for my kids, cabin was great despite the heater not working the first night which was quickly fixed the next morning. The barn had some fun activities but trying to do anything while dodging kids riding scooters and rollerskating indoors is frustrating, and when we went at the designated time to sign up at the activities shack for the shooting activities (we were actually a few minutes early) only to be told someone came 30 minutes before the signup times and took all the time slots though the day was really disappointing. It was also disappointing to be told at pirates peak that only the rock climbing wall was going to be run that day and then the man running it disappeared for 30 minutes and we eventually gave up waiting for him to return. If activities have a time on the activities list they should be either available or someone shouldn’t be able to come in and sweep up all the times before signups are supposed to begin. Was planning another trip in the future but now will have to think long and hard on if it’s worth it if half the activities aren’t going to be available.

This is our 6th year camping with North Texas Jellystone and was our 4th Gobble ‘Til You Wobble.

It’s amazing the growth that has occurred at the campground in just those 6 years! They keep adding activities and amenities that make the experience better and better every year. The activities barn is a great place to meet up, but our favorite activity was over at Pirate’s Cove where we climbed the rock walls and did the “high ropes course” as well, all included in the stay!

We look forward to staying again soon!

Great place to take the kids camping! Not as much to do in the winter time but they do try to make the most of it with activities. Summertime was more fun for our kids. Just be sure get to the water park before it gets too busy for the day in order to enjoy more rides.

We have driven past NTJP for years, but this year, thanks to a family reunion, NTJP made a perfect alternative to staying in any nearby hotels. Our cabin was in great condition and had everything we could ask for. The location was convenient to our family and to stores and restaurants in nearby Burleson. The staff was all friendly and helpful. What more could we ask for?

Had a wonderful time, will definitely be back again, beautiful property with plenty to do, even with the water park being closed. I’d like to give a shoutout to Shauna at the camp store for going above and beyond for us, she is a good addition to the team and she makes a killer milkshake🤣

Shout out to NTXJP for hosting Camp Care. You have a beautiful park! All the staff were great but Kimberly from the ranger station went above and beyond to make my experience unforgettable!

We really had a great time and we would go back.

I will say in my opinion the park is best for kids 12 and under. You definitely need to download the app and then you’ll receive notifications of the fun activities they have going all day long.

The resort was very clean, at night it was quiet and they were very accommodating. You can do the water park or go in the swimming pools right by the campground.

The kids so enjoyed the crafts and games that were provided included in the cost of your visit for the most part. You can bring your own shirt and only pay $5 for Tye dye.

I was most impressed with the workers. For the most part they were under 25. They would answer your questions politely, if you needed help they would help kindly and even the young life guards I found to be very focused and alert.

You can rent a golf cart but we actually enjoyed taking our bikes. Although it’s a large park it can easily be ridden by bike and I’m 61!

Great visit and we will bring our grands again.

Spent a week here for our anniversary. Our family had an amazing time. Staff was incredibly nice. Highly advise renting a golf cart if you don't have one in the summer. The park is big. Also if your kids are doing the gel blasters, make sure you are there at 9am for sign ups for that day bc slots book fast. We drove 9hrs to stay here and it was just a really great time, well worth it.
