Exceptional Asian Cuisine at Magic Wok. Quaint atmosphere but great service and your food is served table side and on REAL dishes and flatware. Each entree is served with a fluffy plain fried rice and a vegetable egg roll. Was here with my husband only back in November and got the Orange Chicken and it was also wonderful. This has become our go-to spot for Chinese Food on our road trips through Alabama. Now, you should build one in Fort Oglethorpe, GA! I’m sure you would get AMAZING business! I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for high quality Asian food at a good price. And the service is very quick. Thank you, Magic Wok! Until next time!

First time visiting Magic Wok. You can tell it’s a family owned business. There’s nothing fancy about it but was definitely our speed. Quiet, clean, and the food was served hot.
We enjoyed the food. Large portions and plenty left overs for lunch the next day.

WOW. Exceptional Asian food. We got the Sesame chicken and Orange chicken. Both were delicious, came with fried rice and an egg roll. All white meat chicken and your meal is served on a real plate with real flatware. None of that styrofoam and plastic forks and spoons. The price was good, too. We also found the restrooms very clean and the overall impression of the restaurant is very well kept. I wish we had one of these close to where we live. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for and appreciates QUALITY Chinese food. Will definitely return for a stop by on my next trip through Alabama.

Nice family run restaurant. Good food, generous portions. Make sure you ask for the "real" hot mustard for your egg roll. It's the real deal. Excellent Hot and Sour soup here

My favorite asian restaurant right now. The best lo mein on the planet! They never disappoint! Fresh, large portions...always enough to take home for later.

Great tasting General tso chicken and sesame chicken. The chicken was delicious and flavorful. The restaurant uses white meat chicken unlike most other places. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The prices are very good especially for the amount of food you get.

I don't know why I waited so long to visit! Crab Rangoon almost to pretty to eat, yet was delicious and the best Beef Egg Foo Young I've ever eaten!

Food and service is amazing! Big portions with good prices. Very nice people and delicious food! The sauce on the meals are always delicious, crispy egg rolls, fresh rice and yummy noodles. My family and I love coming here. I would recommend the garlic, thai curry, or bourbon chicken! They will also customize any meal to the way you would like it!

Absolutely love this restaurant, very convenient and budget friendly. The fried dumplings are to die far, by far one the best dishes personally and the workers are very friendly especially Kelsey she’s amazing and patient and considerate.

I really enjoy the food its absolutely delicious. The Mongolian Beef is my favorite. The general atmosphere is nice. Not really service which isn't necessarily a bad thing. The staff at the register didn't really know much about the food or how to explain it. And the sweet tea really needs some work. But kudos out to the kitchen cause food is terrific.

The kitchen staff is old school. A mom and pop and they make some of the best chinese i have ever had. They always give you a smile with your order. Nice, clean lobby too. I highly recommend.

It is worth noting first and foremost that this is not the same restaurant as was reviewed a year ago. Magic Wok is a separate entity under separate management with an entirely new staff.

That being said, the food is absolutely wonderful. I'm an avid partaker of Asian cuisine, by which I mean I eat everything from Thai and Hibachi to your standard Panda Express quickly-prepared Western-influenced dishes. Magic Wok excels. Even when I'm travelling and I want Chinese food, Magic Wok is the foremost quality to which I compared other food. Seasoning is excellent, sauces are wonderful and the food has always been cooked perfectly.

The staff are very helpful and very polite. They've always been correct with my orders and have always done their best to make sure I was happy, above all else.

If you chose to dine in, their interior decoration is delightful. Though not overly Oriental-themed, it bears a slight resemblance to most other Chinese restaurants, though it does not have a buffet.

5/5 Eat here as often as I can. Anytime I want Chinese.

This place is awesome. If I could give them ten stars I would. And my server, Hanna banana Sanders is the most awesome host, cashier,whatever. I think she was cooking too. I'm pretty sure she does everything. How did this place survive without her!

The best place in Calera to get Chinese food. This place never disappoints us. I always get their teriyaki chicken, the sauce isn’t as heavy as most and has amazing flavor. Other members of my family have gotten the Mongolian chicken and cashew chicken. Both great dishes. Also would like to mention how easy it is to order. Teriyaki chicken is C.10 😉

I ordered through Grub Hub and really didn't know what to expect. I ordered the Thai Coconut Curry Chicken and my daughter got the Sweet and Sour Chicken. The order got to my house on time and still hot. The food was amazing. I will definitely be ordering more in the future. The coconut curry chicken is my new favorite thing

Their 'Crab Rangoon' and 'Bourbon Chicken' w/ rice is to die for! I've eaten from this place several times and have never been disappointed in the slightest.

We just found this place about a month or so ago and probably have had take out from here several times already. The food is excellent and they give you a very helpful portion (I typically have left overs for the next day). The food always seems to be in good quality. Staff is extremely friendly and remember your name! HIGH recommend eating here

Magic Wok is a Calera staple that never disappoints. The counter staff is absolutely amazing and fast, and the kitchen staff is even faster. You get gigantic portions at low prices. It’s not the fanciest food in the world, but that’s not the point. It’s great food, low price, and quick.

Also, ask for the homemade mustard, it’s way better than the kind that comes in packs!
