Sage Bar & Grill

Ordered the Sage burger, beer cheese, Swiss, bacon, and I fell HARD in love with it. The beer cheese here is absolutely top notch, everything is cooked to perfection, service is fantastic and rapid response. They were out of a handful of things on a Sunday but they made up for that shortcoming in the fantastic food. 9/10 recommend

We have never eaten here. But tonight we had a date night and it was great. Trina was our server and she was great. The food was delicious and we absolutely LOVED Trina. Guys we all need to get out more and enjoy life and happiness and fun. Support small business and go to Sage. ❤

We stopped here for dinner as we were traveling through. McKenna, our service was great. The food was fantastic and the live music brought it all together. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely be back!

We stopped here on our way back from vacation and we are so glad we did! They were short on servers and we still had excellent service and great food! We ordered the chicken tenders dinner, crazy crunchy chicken, and kids steak. All the food was well cooked and very well priced. Do yourself a favor and stop in, stretch your legs and keep a local small business afloat in a town of chain restaurants. They also had clean restrooms with a changing table. Asked us where we were from and made sure we had drinks for the road. Will definitely stop again if we find ourselves this direction!

We showed up unexpectedly mid afternoon after a funeral & burial & mostly took over the place.
They had to have called in help to take such good care of us. We loved our server-Tati J!
The food was fresh & very good.
It’s a very clean place to go eat.

While traveling, stopped to have lunch at the Cracker Barrel which was packed so found this locally owned eatery. Was not disappointed. Our server was a high school young man that was very courteous, polite and prompt. Tried the pimento cheese fritters, oh my delish. The green salad and grilled chicken avocado was also delish. Oh, and the oreo cheesecake was also the perfect end to our lunch. Oh, and offered a military discount. Highly recommend.

Wow just wow this place was amazing cane with my father I got Meatloaf with Okra and Fries. My father got a steak like meal (correct me later) I'm just impressed it's so good our server was amazing we never ran out of drink (sweet tea). It had amazing music playing. Food didn't take long at all. The fries were nothing of what I expected. Me and my father will be coming back!

So good, I ate my wings and drank my beer before I could take a picture. Awesome live music, too!

1st timer at the restaurant and I tell ya I won't be a last timer.
The guy who took care of us name was Mike and he made alot of the experience great explaining they smoker techniques and hookn me up with some of a type of cheese made right there inside this lil cozy bar n grill .... a "beer cheese" man it was good on my sandwich and see where it would be good with some other things on the menu.
I had the the philly steak sandwich which all ingredients combined well and very flavorful (I *Never finish my sandwich no matter where I go , but I did here) my onion rings was a lil over cooked but I jus told them and out some fresh ones came, served by the lovely Trina (very friendly people). My husband had their smoked meatloaf (and it was purdy good too) hey y'all Don't walk out without tryn that fried banana puddin' 😋 m m good. ~~~ we will see y'all again . Thank sfor the great experience in such a cute lil place

Came to this restaurant for lunch and dinner on multiple days during my week stay in Calera. Every meal we had was above average and staff was very friendly. Special shout out to both bar tenders for there excellent service. The atmosphere was very inviting and karaoke patrion was lively. I will definitely be back..... We came back on a Tuesday and played trivia. We didn't win and we didn't come in last lol. Very fun time.

We had my grandson's 14th birthday dinner at Sage tonight. Our server, Emily, went far above and beyond with great service and an even better attitude! Thank you Emily!! We will definitely be back again.

How lucky were we to stop and eat here on a whim during a road trip. Katie, the owner, is a delight and her food is magical. We had the fried pickles: just the way they should be served, as spears coated with a thin and delicious batter. The collard greens are a real standout. And my mom loved her sexy BLT. The drinks were well mixed and the draft list was solid. Next time we are in the area, we are coming back to Sage!

My family and I went over Christmas break and we all can't wait to go back. I hate I didn't get pictures of all our food. It was all delicious from the beer battered cheese fries to the hamburger, Salisbury steak, and the peppercorn chicken. We ate so much we hurt!

We stopped on our way home to Florida. It was about 8PM and they had karaoke in the bar. Good music. I had Shrimp n grits. The shrimp was spiced with Cajun and done to perfection for me. Still a little moist and tasty. Grits were cheesy, but not too cheesy. My husband had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a side of greens, which he tells me was awesome. Our waitress, Dakota was efficient and attentive. The owner, Katy came to make sure everything was to our liking and the bartender was very pleasant. We will definitely return.

We love Amberley !! We sat at the bar and she is so incredibly nice and attentive! We have been back a couple times now and always have great service. The food is pretty good and they have a good selection. We plan on making it a regular place for us !!

Great food. Friendly staff. Sells original art pieces also! Pickle fries. Sexy BLT. Redneck chicken with beer cheese mac and garlic mashed. Greek Salad with steak.

Great local bar and grill where you can have a few drinks and a good meal. And you can play pool while you hang out. We'll be back next time we're in the area!

We always love coming to Sage for lunch! The owner is always so sweet and such a friendly face. The staff is always on point and sweet too. We always leave with a smile! The food is hands down some of the best I’ve had around Calera. We can’t wait to come for karaoke and for the live music.

Great spot. We got in really late and this restaurant was right across from our hotel. It was a good stop. Food was good. Venue was clean and well maintained. Would recommend.
