Schnitz Ale Brewery

Had a great lunch here Saturday. Had the brisket sandwich and the sausage platter. The beer was fantastic, too. Great atmosphere.

My wife and I came for lunch. It was great, we had the pretzel and split the Nashville schnitzel sandwich. The pretzel and beer cheese were delicious, the mustard was a bit intense for me but it was unique. The Nashville was gigantic and delicious. Would like to try their poutine as the fries were very good as well. Samantha was our waitress and she went out of her way to make our visit great, even bringing stickers and a Cleveland beer passport at the end which was a nice touch. Although it’s a bit far from home, we will be back. It would be a good spot for a younger crowd visiting the Cleveland area.

The place across the street was packed, so we came over here and how fortunate! It was busy with all of us eclipse tourists, but we were seated and served in a reasonable time. The beers were very good, the sausage platter and pork schnitzel were amazing. Highly recommended!

Loving the changes to the menu! Especially the fresh fennel-citrus salad. The house brewed heiffweizen with an orange slice is perfect for the summer. The smoked wings, house made sausages and honey cornbread are delicious! Service is always good and the atmosphere is fabulous! And don’t forget to leave room for the homemade desserts!

Save your self the decision process get both the pretzel and the pepper dip thank me later. So this is more of a question than a review.....who had the crazy idea to put blackberry on elk? I want to send you a Christmas card by good friend. Scots ale was my favorite by a mile. That with the burger are a solid combo. The fries hot fresh and crispy absolutely delicious. The Napoleon to end the night was the perfect way to end it. I'm upset it took me this long to come here but that burger took the thrown of my favorite local burger and I don't see it getting dethroned well done person who put blackberry on a burger well done indeed.

My husband and I went there for lunch around noon on a Thursday. They had a small crowd, but the service was great. The shareable pretzel is HUGE and delicious, covered in bier cheese, bacon, and green onion. We each got sausage sandwiches (his with kraut, mine without). It was the best bratwurst I've ever had. The mustard they give you with sandwiches was a treat all on its own. Plus, it's beautiful inside. We will definitely return.

Everything was amazing. Our server Bri was phenomenal and couldn't have been nicer. The food was delicious. The pork belly starter was very good. The sausage platter was amazing and the drunken beans with it are unbelievable. The atmosphere is great. The beer flight was a great way to try their beers. We can't wait to come back!

We stopped in last night while passing through town. Originally went across the street where they couldn't be bothered to even bring us a glass of water. Schnitz Ale had an amazing service, our server was out of this world. She should be promoted to a manager honestly. I highly recommend this restaurant. Fabulous.

We had excellent service and the beer was very good. The schnitzel sliders were very delicious and the brisket sandwich was very good. The fries were also fried perfectly which so few places do perfectly. It's also really well done inside. Cozy spot.

I have dined here numerous times and have always had the most pleasant experiences. Whether I'm being served at a table or the bar, the servers/bartenders taking care of me are consistently friendly, precise and engaging. This holds true whether it's busy or not. I feel they genuinely enjoy you choosing to stop in their establishment. Kudos to Sam, Aaron, James & Bri for being those I know of that have made certain visits ones to remember. I honestly view the restaurant as a "happy place" if you need some comfort food in a cozy atmosphere. Last but not least, the food and beer are always top notch!! I am constantly recommending Schnitz Ale to everyone I know! (Wish I had taken food photos from each visit but today I made sure to snap the pierogis and brat-chos).

Our first time here, though we've been to Das Schnitzel Haus many times. It is very cozy on the main floor and we were lucky enough to get a table by the open window. It was a beautiful day and it was like sitting on a patio. Our server Samantha was very attentive, fast and friendly. We got a pretzel appetizer, which was huge and the beer cheese sauce delicious! Not enough sauce, but still tasty. Hubby had a Pearl Road Gold, he said it was good, but he'll get a different beer next time. He had a Haus Burger that he really loved. It came with fries that have a seasoning he said was a bit too spicy. I had a Schnitzel, can't remember the exact name, but it was amazing! The perfect crunch on the breading! It came topped with veggies and feta, with rice pilaf and a fresh slaw, great sides to the main dish. We took a look around after dinner. The upstairs is spacious and nicely decorated. There are two cool stained glass pieces displayed in the ceiling from the former business that was in this location. We will be back!

Finally had a chance to try this place and I am so glad we did! The service was fantastic, seating was quick even on a Saturday night, and the food and beer were delish!

We had two flights to sample 8 different beers, and I’m so glad we went this path. Tonight there were 21 different beers available from the brewery itself, and so many of them were awesome. My favorite was the Hefeweizen (which is a general favorite of mine, but SAB’s is outstanding!) and my husband loved the Dunkel.

I had the Reuben for dinner with fries (basic, I know, but I measure all restaurants by their Reuben) and this was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had. The corned beef was thick cut and so Smokey and delicious, the fries were crisp and peppery, and the 1000 horses sauce (thousand island with horseradish) was SO GOOD!

My husband had the pork schnitzel dinner, and we were not expecting it to be so big. He thoroughly enjoyed it and was surprised to like the tart cherry jam as much as he did.- highly recommend!

Our server was so helpful with recommendations and being patient while we decided what to get. She was attentive and regularly checked in. She even put up with my husband’s several questions haha.

We will definitely be back again… and again and again!

We came because of the Cleveland Brewery Passport. The beer was cold and delightful. The food was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The stars of the table were the wings and Ruben sandwich. The only criticism I have is no changing tables in the bathroom for families.

Delicious, clean, great service. My husband is Polish , so we are always on the lookout for authentic European food. This restaurant was perfect. Different variety of sausages, tasty hot fries, excellent sałat!!

I can't say enough about this place. If you enjoy a great craft beer and excellent food you must check this place out. Recently opened. Reasonably priced beer and food.

If you're into seasonal beers, give their Zen master (October fest) a try. Their Schnitzel ale original gangster is a true stout beer. You can purchase a flight for $10. They also fill growlers. All their brewing is done in house...

As for their food, think of craft food. If you like corned beef you must try the smoked corned beef sandwich. It just melts in your mouth. The lamb burger is also noteworthy.

The inside of the brewery was spotless. Very clean and very organized. The parking lot was just repaved.

We always enjoy coming here for a couple of drinks and dinner. It's a clean and comfortable bar/restaurant with a varied menu and wonderful service (especially, Samantha - she's knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient). They have good Happy Hour specials. We also enjoy the outdoor seating in warner weather.

Recently I held a memorial event at Schnitz Ale Brewery.
The Food, Staff, and Service were beyond over the top excellent.
I didn't have to worry about a single thing. Brenden asked a few questions prior to the event and took it from there. Due to the nature of the event it was a relief that I didn't have to think about a single thing. It was all taken care of.

Our guests were mainly from the east side and said they plan on visiting both the brewery and Das Schnitzel Haus across the street in the future for some great German food.

Cozy atmosphere. Tried the hefeweizen wheat beer. Very light and good. Also got the jumbo pretzel!! Amazing cheese, mustard, and apple butter sauces

Always good service and food. We aren't big beer lovers but always come back for the innovative and delicious food!
