Black Rose Cafe & Bar

My husband and I went for breakfast it was our first time there and everything when I say everything I mean everything was great! My food was delicious the portions were fine , the music was so nice and appropriate and the service was good! I enjoyed my morning and I know my husband did too. I definitely recommend, give it a chance!

Breakfast was amazing ! I will come back to try their dinner menu.

Part two: 2/24/24
I went back today to try their dinner menu,didn't have a lot on the menu. I had blueberry hibiscus tea very delicious. I had the fajita steak,which was good ,but the steak was a little tough. Also the steak plate was great. Pic posted .

walking in i was greeted by a very friendly woman. she was very patient with me and even upon mishearing me, fixed my drink quickly and got my food order in. I ordered a veggie bowl with an added egg no corn and it came out quite fast, i’d say about 8 min it was already out, hot, and ready to be devoured by me because it looked so delicious. the sweet plantains were my favorite! only reason the food is getting 4 instead of 5 stars is because it was sort of lacking flavor but not too much. i still ate it all! overall very good experience and whenever i’m back in the area i will be back!

I went here with my sister and bf to take a study break and chill loved my nachos and smoothie absolutely delish. We sat outside and our server was very attentive. My sister had the sandwich and my bf had the crepes both loved their meals.

I had an excellent breakfast here of chicken & waffles! The chicken was perfect and pre-sliced in a lovely presentation. The waffle was nice and thick as it should be and not like the skinny waffles at many other places. I ordered my waffle extra toasty and it held up through the meal perfectly! I also enjoyed delicious caramel latte. I am a local but I had a mini-vacay feeling eating here this morning and that’s what I was hoping for! I am looking forward to many more little escapes at Black Rose Cafe & Bar!
UPDATE : Went on a date night with the hubby and had another great experience! He got street tacos and I got the cheeseburger. So thankful the owner’s chose Locust Grove to open their restaurant!

Hands down the best latte I’ve ever had. Better than those I get in Atlanta and definitely the best on the Southside. My avo on toast was delicious and hit the spot. Great atmosphere and great customer service!

Fast friendly Service has stopped by here as I was waiting for my ride since I dropped my truck off across the street at the transmission place.

I got a little pastry and a hot chocolate 🙂

Love this place! Had the Grinch Mocktail and the Christmas Cosmo with the Veggie Bowl. The guacamole was exceptional!

It’s incredible to see such an awesome family come in to your former business and blow it out of the water!! They are crushing it and everything is incredible! Locust grove needed a spot with amazing food that is DIFFERENT!!!
You no longer have to travel to Atlanta for great food, They’ve got it here! I highly recommend them and you will not be disappointed! Everything is amazing!

Our brunch experience was delightful. The dining area was cozy and clean, staff was attentive and friendly, menu was comprised of a variety of scrumptious food. Strawberry-Lemonade Mimosa’s we’re beyond tasty. If you haven’t already you should definitely plan to!!

The food was perfect and a decent price for how much you get!! The service was top-tier I ordered the French toast was so decorative and it tasted phenomenal, and the atmosphere was very family friend, the servers were very attentive and my drink was never even close to empty, they were always very sweet and have a smile on their faces!! I definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a classic breakfast and/ lunchtime experience with family or by yourself!!

I haven’t had food since the reopening, but if you’re debating on coming in, JUST DO IT! This is the cutest little cafè in Locust Grove and does NOT disappoint! I came in a few times under previous ownership and it was nice and worth coming in during that time too, BUT it’s even more spectacular than before! Not just breakfast foods, deserts and coffee, but an entire lunch and dinner menu with operation hours going until 9?! 🤯
I work a few buildings over at the day spa and I can already tell that my wallet is going to take a beating from frequent future visits 😅.
Looking forward to trying out the whole menu and seeing Black Rose thrive in the future! 🤩

The food is delicious. The coffee is also delicious 🤤. I will definitely be coming here often to try the menu. I tried a bit of the chiliquiles I know I probably spelled that wrong lol but those were so good I’ll have to get my own next time. The crepes were good.

We had a wonderful first experience at this newest version of the Black Rose Cafe. Now a Mexican style bistro and coffee shop. They offer coffee, smoothies, various baked goods, breakfast and dinner options. We had the taco salad, quesadilla, sope, chocolate tres Leche, chocoflan, and churro cheesecake. Everything was great, we were very pleasantly surprised by the chocoflan. The staff was kind, attentive, and answered all of our questions.

Drove by this place when in the area for work. I always love finding a local coffee shop and it was great!

Very delicious, we will be back. We had the bom omelette, the huevos rancheros, kids pancakes, and kids waffle. All were awesome!

Incredible spot we stumbled upon in Locust Grove. So glad we did! Service was amazing and the coffee and food was even better! We will definitely be going back.

The art and decor captivated me from the moment we walked in! There's a small selection of cultural staples available for purchase as you make your way to the counter to order. I inquired about the Seasonal Specialities attempting to narrow my selection down to one drink. A beautiful woman spoken up with confidence to recommend the "Apple Pie" a denatured from your run of the mill caffienated drink and OMGOODNESS, I'm casting my vote for Ms. Fouchena to be awarded Barista / Mixologist of the year! The Apple Pie drink is heavenly!!! And unlike many drink, the name and flavor profile match EXACTLY - this is liquid Apple Pie!!! Not too sweet but sweet, tart but not to tart - perfection!

I had already eaten breakfast at home. Had a Strawberry mimosa while my friend ate. Drink was excellent! Staff was very courteous!
