Instant dopamine rush when you walk through the doors. If I had more time I could have done a ton of damage to my wallet! Brightly lit and super clean. There are tons of snacks, skincare, household items, and gifts to choose from. It’s pretty much impossible to avoid grabbing a Mochi donut on your way in or out!

This store is so much fun. Theres a little bit of everything. Items are decently priced. The trinkets and all are so cute! You have to walk into the mochi donut store and past it. There's also a basement level.

Very fun store! The first level is mostly snacks and drinks. Lower level is fun dishes and housewares

Had a lot of fun browsing around! The staff members are very nice. I had a lot of fun trying to buy some goodies for my friend. Will come back again.

Great selection of Japanese goods including snacks, candy, cosmetics, toys, and everyday essentials. The store is well designed and chic with good music as well. Cool place to pick up some novelty gifts as well.

My family are devoted fans for their hypnotic, highly addictive donuts. A smidge pricey, but when you bite into one, you will not care how much they are but how many you can get your hands on.

A little bit of Japan in Philly's Chinatown. Hidden behind a mochiring donut shop is a cultural gem. A wall of Japanese vending machines, Manga and anime figured from small to larger-than-life, inscrutable candies and beverages, various ramen noodles in rare flavors, etc. Brightly lit and clean, friendly and reasonable - it's a really cool place to check out.

Snacks, toys, characters items, aid stuff. Adult toys, and more. I bought new bottle of water and hot water Thermos by ZOJIRUSHI . Some snacks and hair band, toothbrush for kid.

I tried the new mango milk tea drink. It’s pretty good! The store itself is cute but I haven’t bought anything from there yet

Love this place. Mochinut in the front and then a fun Japanese lifestyle store in back. Food and personal care products upstairs and plenty of lifestyle goodies downstairs. Lots of anime/manga themed merch as well as household goods. Worth checking out for any anime/manga fan or Japanophile. Great for gifts.

Surprised to find this retail shop just past the mochinut counter. Basement level had the cute pens I was looking for at a decent price.

I loved it. Japanese life store with a bunch of stuff. Would definitely recommend if you would like a feel of Japan. Bought a couple of sweets and whatnot from there as well as a mochidonut from Mochinut at the entrance, very cool little hidden gem in Philly.

This place is just like a Daiso. If you’ve ever lived in Japan or Korea this will give you a nice slice of your home away from home. The drink and snack selection is unparalleled. 10/10 plus you have to pass through mochinut-the biggest temptation to get a donut or Korean corn (fry) dog.

Great selection of Japanese goods not too expensive and very friendly staff. If your into anime and want to look at the statues or want to check out the gatcha boxes.

Me and my 2yo daughter had a great time today !! It was a bit crowded cause of the opening (reasonable) and we got some basic stuffs but looking forward to come back during the week!! Great selection of products specially the skincare ones that are hard to find and takes forever to ship to the US, im glad they open!!!

Great Japanese store that has two levels. Large inventory of snacks, beauty products, and household items. Also serve food and mochi donuts with indoor seating. Staff were friendly, prices are as expected of the area.

So happy I no longer need to trek up to Mitsuwa in NJ to get my Japanese house and beauty products!!

Absolutely amazing selection of Japanese snacks, drinks, beauty, hair, and house stuff right in the heart of Philly's Chinatown!

They even have small anime, a selection of tenga products, and a wall of gatcha machines (bring about $5-$8 cash to exchange for tokens).

Even better, they have a mochinut right in front of the store, which is seriously delicious! I recommend the ube donut.

However, it's two floors (anime, household, and hair care are downstairs) with no elevator that I could see. During peak hours, it can also get cramped, and their is no bathroom (but there are places close by that do).
