Old Carolina Barbecue Company - Stow

We had Old Carolina catered for our wedding in April 2024 and it was the best decision! The food was so delicious and everyone was asking about where we had it catered after the event. We had a buffet with brisket, pulled chicken, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, salad and corn bread muffins and they were all a hit. The staff were very helpful the day of and we were even able to rent chairs through them. Would highly recommend them to cater a wedding!

The cashier was super sweet, and pleasant. Walked me through her favorites and gave me a complementary drink since it was my first time there. Got the 5 wings and green beans and fries for a side and banana pudding for dessert. Everything was amazing and fresh. Sad that it took me almost 3 years to stop but I will definitely be back!

I ordered take out to be picked up at a specific time. I walked in 5 minutes before and they were packing it up! The food is so good and their sauces are fabulous. Three of us ate heartily for $25...good deal!

Great food, and really awesome sauce selection. The front staff are very pleasant and so is Sharize the manager. Got a free drink too. Amazing place for lunch or for dinner.

Took my food to go. Always worried finding new bbq places when working out of state. I’ve had good ones and I’ve had bad ones. This place is in the top 3 great places I’ve found. Prices are great for bbq. And want to try a 3 meat plate next time I come in. Got a small bowl with brisket mashed potatoes and all the fixings.

Service was phenomenal from the moment I walked in until I left with my to go order. Food was still hot after a 10 minute drive home. Lots of flavor and good size portions. Would recommend if you want BBQ! Way to go Team Carolina BBQ.

Great helpful staff, some of the best smoked ribs and brisket around. A decent value expensive, but it’s easily two meals worth.
One suggestion: A senior citizens and children’s menu with smaller portions. I can’t recall ever witnessing a family of 4 or more with young children dining together here. (Maybe Hot dogs and hamburgers)

Jesse was amazing, got us some great ribs, if they tell you, to wait..... its So worth the wait! The awesome cornbread is back, to it original status being nice and NOT DRY like the cornbread they used to try and replace it with. If you want some good food, and two can dine under 50 bucks come here!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I WOULD PERSONALLY DONATE MY ORGANS TO SAVE THE MANAGER OF THIS PLACE.

Love this place! My family eats here all of the time and it never disappoints. Everyone here is great and makes the atmosphere inviting.

The food was great but the service was excellent. Everybody was friendly, welcoming, and helpful! Not just to us but to everyone dining. We will be back more often with this team working!

My wife and I did a comparison with Mission BBQ Canton and OC BBQ Stow and Old Carolina was no doubt the winner. portions were 2x plus more, the taste also went to Old Carolina including the sauce, cornbread was better. Price was about the same the people today is SUPER important for returning visits because most Restaurant staff act as if the customer is a bother or and inconvenience to there day?? Please focus on keeping positive people working in your stores. By the way I actually drove to a Chipotle store in the same parking lot but Chipotle on cinco de Mayo Sunday decided to post in there door windows that they were only accepting online orders when the have never practiced this in the past how many years they have been open in Stow Ohio as I was informed by a rude employee at Chipotle! I walked out and purchased our Sunday dinner at old Carolina with Friendly people and better food.

Best wings we have had in awhile! Taste baked without a lot of fat and then dry rubbed. We ordered a bit of everything but would only recommend the wings, pulled pork or loaded bowl. Friendly staff. Order took about 15 mins.

I ordered online for a scheduled delivery to a friends house that I was not present not only did they prepare order earlier than expected but the delivery driver was very attentive with the delivery. Even called me when there was some confusion with my friends daughter who answered the door.

Highly impressed with service and hot delicious meals considering lack of staff and only two employees during lunch hour. I applaud their efforts. Thank you

Got a spicy chicken sandwich with slaw on it and it had just the correct amount of heat along with the fresh fries… they tasted just like fair fries. I didn’t even know this place existed but now that I know I will definitely be getting more often.

Coming from someone who was once a manager at an authentic, texas-style bbq, spending hours and hours of the bbq craft, I really gotta say... Old Carolina's is phenomenal! I always love good ole' brisket, and they do it the good ole' fashion way.

I tried each of their sauces. Each were an experience into a crazy direction.

That banana pudding though? The best I've ever had, and let me say it again. I WAS A MANAGER AT A BBQ ESTABLISHMENT! I've made banana pudding hundreds of times. They make a better version than I do 😭😭😭❤❤❤

As you can see, I'm a sucker for good food, but the service was parallel to that. Open, exciting greeting when I first walked in to set the warming, welcoming tone from me, the staff and I talking like we're just good friends helping each other out (bbq for money trade) and they just seemed really easy going.

Too bad I live an hour away, but I'll take this one time experience as an unforgettable experience. Well done, guys!

Their pulled pork BBQ sandwiches are delicious!! We just had their BBQ bowls as well and they are so tasty and filling!

I really love Old Carolina. North East Ohio is not known for good bbq, and I've taken a liking to this place. They smoke meats in house and their sauces are great. The mustard sauce and screaming beaver are my two favorite. They also have a mild and medium spice sauces as well. The ribs are super tasty and pulled pork is awesome (among the several meat items they have). They have a slew of sides like coleslaw (creamy or vinegar), green beans, baked beans, banana pudding, fries, etc. Highly recommended.

I had gotten a test done at Summa medical center and was about 2 miles away from Old Carolina Barbecue. I placed the order at the hospital, drove to the store and it was ready by the time I arrived! Super fast! And delicious as always!
