I had a broken zipper on a suitcase. Was able to bring it in after hassling with the manufacturer who did not stand by their warrantee. I was in and out in minutes, with a fixed zipper. Thrilled would be an understatement!

A wonderful shop! Work is ready in just a day or 2. Prices are reasonable so I don't mind that he is cash only. Very pleasant older gentleman, very happy w his work!

What a great experience! The owner is such a lovely man - he's going to be 89 this month! - and he fixed my boots right up and made them even better than before. And pro tip: the shop IS where Google says it is! It's on the very outside edge of the building, facing the side street.

Mark is an excellent craftsman and highly experienced Cobbler. He replaced the soles and heels on my Ostrich Quill boots with the utmost perfection. He is also a very nice man.

I felt compelled to write a review (something I rarely do) because I'd read the reviews before giving this business a shot. I am not sure if those who said he was rude just got him on an off day or what, but my experience was most excellent! I phoned on a Friday morning, told him I was only in town for the weekend and asked if he could repair them in time. He said to bring them down today and he could. I got there, he told me the price (which was far less than I was expecting) and told me I could pick them up the following day. I don't know about you, but I can't even get dry cleaning back that quickly, never mind boots re-soled. The following morning, I called to see what time I could get them and he told me they were ready and I could pick up at any time. I went over and picked them up. They were perfectly re-soled with top quality leather. He'd even polished them up for me. He was a darling, hard working man, who was very courteous, professional and, obviously, takes great pride in his work. I may just wait until I'm in town again to have my next pair re-soled. He has earned a customer for life with just one perfect experience. :)

Amazing shop!! The 86-year-old man who runs this ship can fix ANYTHING you bring in. Try it! He recently restitched snowmobile gloves handed down to me by my grandfather. They look like new! My husband's shoes are next. He is so sweet and relishes his trade, his life's calking. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

This guy knows shoes and he'll fix them if they can be fixed. Sadly, some other reviewers seem upset that he wouldn't fix their shoes, but that's just honest, you cannot fix something well that was not made well to begin with.
Honest, affordable, friendly. He'll fix your nice shoes that you don't want to lose to wear and tear or a tragic turn.

I went in to have dad's well-worn leather belt re-sized for me, so I can wear it for many more years. I fell in love with the proprietor who is very friendly and does a job he loves. You should use his services when you need your shoes (or belt!) repaired...

Mark made two pairs of my well used shoes look like almost new. Really happy - and his prices are very reasonable. Honest professional imho.

Wonderful little shop with the nicest owner. He recently moved here from Pleasanton and I’m so glad he did. I brought him a beat up pair of shoes which he returned looking the best I have seen them in years. Also economical... though he’s cash only... how quaint!

Great Cobbler! Helped stretch my shoes and widened them as well. Like a brand new pair. Very happy, and the price was so unbelievable, that I tipped him double! Worth it! I highly recommend.

He fixed both of my very ragged and old Birkenstocks. I bought two solid, quality belts. He says he can do any leather repair or construction. I believe him. He is a craftsman.
