Pipe Dream Pizza

It was our 1st visit to pipe dream wood fire pizza. We ordered a couple drinks,they are canned drinks, beer, I had a local hard cider, which was delicious. We ordered a plain Jane pepperoni and sausage. It is a thin crust, tasty pizza sauce and overall very good pizza. It's a small place and was very busy, but they did a great job keeping up. Will definitely be back!

Having traveled extensively, I can confidently say that a small rural town like Mason City is lucky to have a pizza shop this good!! The butternut squash pie is currently living rent free in my head, the spicy pepperoni za is 🔥, the local beer selection is solid, and Caitlyn and Brigid and the whole staff are super friendly and efficient. Already looking forward to my next visit.

Finally had a chance to try this place! We had the carbonara pizza and the brisket pizza and both were delicious! The inside is super cool and love that you can see the oven doing its thing. Our waitress was awesome too!

Wow! Came to Mason City to pick up a car. Swung in to grab a takeout pizza for the ride home. Great experience from start to finish! Busy Saturday night and the woman taking phone orders was polite, courteous and welcoming. Plain Jane Sausage was amazing! The sauce is absolutely perfect! Pizza ready in 20 minutes. We will definitely be back! Best sausage pizza we have had!

First off let's start by saying their server April has a bubbly infectious personality. She had us talking and laughing at all the right times. The atmosphere is amazing, being able to watch the pizza go in and come out of the wood fire is an experience in itself much different from ordering a generic pizza. The taste, IMPECCABLE. You can tell alot if not all their ingredients are fresh. We weren't sure what to expect as first time customers, but we will happily be back again. We hope April is there :)

A delicious chewy crust and the toppings were all top shelf. Great beverage selection served in a nicely remodeled but cozy old building. Owners were very gracious and the server was attentive. My only regret is that I didn’t save room for the homemade cheesecake.

I really liked the place. Nice ambiance, welcoming staff, good quality ingredients and tasty pizza’s. We had a Carbonara, Pepperoni and Jalapeño, Margarita to name a few, as a group. It was delicious and I highly recommend it. When I will visit Mason City again, I will definitely wanna visit this place again.

A friend and I went here last Thursday and had a great time!
Staff was attentive and offered great suggestions and answered our questions. We started with some beers from Tellurian brewery & a caprese salad, with mozzarella pulled fresh in house that morning. Then we ordered the Quattro Formagio pizza, that includes Maytag Blue & Milton Creamy's Harvest Cheddar. Wow! Kevin McAllister wishes he could get a cheese pizza like this one. The flavors blended together so wonderfully and that pie went quickly. We decided to get another pizza and ordered the Carbonara. Oh gosh, the richness of it!
Overall a really great experience dining here. The quality and consideration that goes into their food is unmatched. Locally sourced ingredients, artistry in their craft, and great ambiance ensure we'll be coming back with more friends to try the rest of their menu!

Eat here. Don’t omit any ingredients on the pizzas on the menu. Pipe Dream Pizza knows what they’re doing. The Pepperoni & Jalapeño pizza is simply amazing…thought the honey would be weird. Loved it! Will be back more than we should!! Great addition to North Iowa!

The pizza and atmosphere is great!! Wonderful service, great Neapolitan style!! Would recommend to anyone! I love that they partner with local farmers for ingredients!

Fantastic place, loved how clean everything was and our waitress was busy but kept everything in a smooth flow, the food was delicious and the service and price great, we will definitely be back lots more! Thank you.

The staff was welcoming and attentive even as more diners arrived. At times there was a little wait but the Neapolitan pizza is delicious and worth it. There are many unique topping pizzas as well as traditional toppings. Our party ordered many different pizzas and not one person was disappointed. A possible favorite was the pepperoni, jalapeños and honey pizza. Will definitely be back to try other pizzas on the menu!

The pizza looks and tastes exactly like the pizzas I've had in Italy! It's different than everything else we have around here - more of an individual pizza with fresh, house-made ingredients like you see in popular spots in larger cities. They aren't too cheesey or over sauced and are a fantastic fresh new addition to the MC food scene. Having moved here from a foodie city, I love that we are seeing some different choices lately, and this is one of my favorites! I highly recommend the pepperoni jalapeno pizza - it has a drizzle of honey that is perfection!

I recently visited Mason City and was surprised and excited to find Pipe Dream Pizza. Went there with a group of friends and family. The menu had so much to offer that we ordered a variety of choices to share. For starters everything is made on premise starting with the dough for the crusts, sauce, and…freshly pulled mozzarella! Service was attentive and friendly and it was fun to watch staff toss pizza dough for crusts and the chef then bake in wood fired oven 🤩.
I will be returning. Highly recommended!

My husband and I took a trip to Mason City for the Clear Lake Kite Festival. We stopped into Pipe Dream Pizza for dinner on Saturday night. The ambiance is great, the pizza was phenomenal, and the staff was friendly. We recommend you order the pepperoni and jalapeno pizza, don't forget a side (or two) of their homemade ranch, and enjoy a nice cold beer. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Mason City.
