Great location for a McDonald’s on the South end of Mason City, IA. I got a 6pc Chicken Nuggets (which I got for free because of a deal from McDonald’s Rewards + a Double Cheeseburger (plain)), a Medium Coffee which was reasonably priced at 1.59 (20 cents cheaper than a Casey’s small) but the coffee was great quality for the price point, and a Bacon Quarter Pounder with Cheese. The store was very clean. The staff were nice and friendly. Usually, this location is very fast in service when compared to 4th Street SW store. I hope this location continues to excel in service.-Shy_Gun670

Awesome play place, super cool color changing light tables and fresh food. Top notch McDonald's, so glad they had the billboard almost 30 miles down the road so we planned to come here! Highly recommended

This is the best McDonald’s in mason city!! The food is always cooked well and delicious!! The customer serve tops all McDonald’s I’ve ever been to!! I really appreciate it!! Especially the interaction I had today!! I drove through and one of the workers was so nice and complimented me on my makeup and made me feel AMAZING about myself and I now plan on being back more than usual!! I appreciate the positivity and good vibes at this McDonald’s even going through the drive through is always pleasant!!! The food is as good as the atmosphere and I love it!!

Nice play place

The young lady handing out food and drinks at the drive through window this afternoon did a great job. She was friendly and the only one with a smile. I could tell she was catching some shade from 2 other employees but she held it together. Very professional. 5 stars.

Great staff fast service clean dining area

Arrived at a busy time of day. Service was very slow, but they were doing their best!! They always have clean bathrooms - VERY much worth the stop!!

I normally go to the other McDs in town and haven't been to the one on Federal for a couple years but it's just as good, if not even a bit better than I remember. The staff at both windows were friendly and they were quick. The deluxe crispy chicken I got didnt have a gallon of mayo on it either like the other store tends to do which was nice!

Definitely a good McDs store overall, excellent location for those heading In or out of the South end too

We stop by to get hot fries and pumpkin pie

All of the employees were fast and worked accurately. While enjoying our hot food I could hear all of them working together while having fun at the same time. Restaurant was clean and all employees were working hard! Refreshing to see at a fast food restaurant.

I've worked for McDonald's in a corporate store. This McDonald's is well run and the food tastes great. The employees are friendly and professional. Our food was brought out to us, fresh and hot. The coffee was fresh and hot as well. It was a good experience and I will be stopping there again when I am in town.

Stopped in late at night for a quick bite. The place was clean comfortable. The lady that took my order was great!! She was working hard and took my order as soon as I came in. Food was prompt and correct.

The drive thru was busier than expected for 7pm at night on a Sunday. Both employees were friendly and professional!

Drive-through was busy but very fast. Received order quickly, hot and fresh. Friendly interaction with employees as well. Will return.

Mcdonald's always the place that no one wants to go but ends up at some point or another during a busy week or road trip or vacation. Two favorite food items are Mchickens and the double quarter pounder.
