Hawks and Reed Performing Arts Center

Amazing venue with an amazing staff and bar crew! This place has an awesome stage, great lighting, and good vibes all around. Definitely recommend if you are in the area!

Cool venue, and the owner is a really nice guy. The feel is nostalgic in the lower level and zen in the upper level. I love the decor, old cassette tapes and antique record players, radios, etc, and books about music. Very good vibe!

I was here for theaters, and it was awesome. Although it's a small place, theater was wonderful, and actors did a great job .....

Who would've thought!?? Smif n Wessun in Greenfiled!!! That's the kind of B.I. Hawks and Reed handles. Whew! An incredible show from start to finish; crowd was respectful and genuinely there to party. Absolutely NO issues. DJ Rec was exciting to watch and hear. Salute to Hawks and Reed. Will do that again and again.

Just played here with my band, Padded Waltz, and it sounded great. The room is great. The staff is great. All is great!

Blown away by this place. Somehow it has taken me until this past Saturday night to visit this gem.
There was a great cover band playing (Jimmy Just Quit)

Someone spent some money on the things that matter here. The sound is professional quality. No corners were cut to spec this system. Awesome sound.
Lighting is on par (not a pun?) with the expansive sound rig. All equipment is new, and ultra modern.
I'm still in awe. The sound engineer was attentive and super competent.
I had expected drinks to be expensive since such money and effort went into the stage, but I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost of drinks.
The only bad thing about this; I can't give a 10 star review!

Great performance space with some seating and some room for standing/dancing, good selection of local beer and cider. Easy to find parking nearby.

Great venue! Have seen many awesome shows here over the years. Usually stop in at the Pint for a drink before the show.

Absolutely beautiful venue!

It was my first social visit to Greenfield, as well as, our first social visit as Pands (Pandemic Friends), our first time at this venue, and our first time, in what feels like decades, that we got to enjoy a deeply felt live performance.

Because of this, I had called ahead of time with some questions...

"Are you still accepting door ticket purchases?" (YES)

"Are you accepting credit card payments? " (YES)

"Do you serve beverages and food?" (YES, Cocina Lupita)

"What time do they stop taking orders?" (8:15pm or around a
quater past showtime)

Ben answered all of these questions & connected me with Cocina Lupita where I ordered ahead of time bc my arrival time was very close to their closing time.

At Cocina Lupita, I experienced excellent attentive service, and we appreciated it!

I felt safe & welcomed in this space overall. I enjoyed the art, lighting, and openness of the main room, minus the necessary support pillars. 🙃

I really appreciated the performance I came to see as well, Mtal Banda was nothing I had ever experienced before. There was wonderful collective engement through out Mtal's performance. Infact, at one point my friend whispered to me and said, " This is like fresh river water cleansing my soul", and it was.

Modern English was fantastic! I still can't believe they performed in Greenfield, and there was room to dance. Thank you Hawks and Reed, you are such a gift to our community!

Saw What Cheer? And Landowner here. Great sound and lights. Good size dance floor in the bar area. Food available in Adjacent room. Definitely a cool show space.

Hands Down one of the Best locally owned Music Venues in new England! So happy to get to work in same building with the team who runs the 4 Venues of Hawks and Reed - there's always something to fit everyone's musical tastes, and a ton of group-friendly events, like game night and drag brunch... they also do a ton of private rentals and non-profit events, truly they have a flex space for everything and everyone! A huge downtown Anchor for Greenfield that helped bring art, nightlife, and a straight VIBE back to the city, these guys are leaders in every sense - can't wait to catch the next show!!!

I saw Enter the Haggis at Hawkes & Reed, what a great show. Great sound. The only bad thing is no seating. My visually impaired Father usually attends ETH shows with me, Hawkes and Reed isn't very handicap friendly for a person in their 80's.

I love hawks and reed! The staff are always friendly and I love the mixture of events/concerts they put on. There’s something for everyone each month! Relatively inexpensive, and a nice small venue that feels casual. My friends and I always enjoy a night at hawks and reed 😊
