Pacific Blues Cafe

We stopped by as part of a wine country tour. We shared the chicken nachos and it was huge--plenty of food for 2 peeps and it was packed with good stuff. Service was great.

Exquisite breakfast. We had Engineer's breakfast and Huevos Rancheros. Yum. Not too crowded for Sat morning.

Great spot in Yountville if you don't want to spend a fortune. Very nice wait staff and a solid menu.

A great escape from wine and expensive five star dining. Great sandwiches, beer and patio atmosphere.

Excellent food, but expensive and slow. This is a great place to get breakfast if you come early before your wine trolley tour - this is where the tour picks up. But leave plenty of time. This is a place to savor and not be in a rush.

On the main street, in the quaint brick V Marketplace shopping and dining complex, right across from Bouchon Bakery, Pacific Blues Cafe is reasonably priced compared to other Yountville restaurants. They serve American breakfast, lunch and dinner. We walked in without reservations for lunch and were lucky enough to dine outdoors in front of Washington Street and got to people watch while enjoying our meals. Service is slow. Personally, I think the wait staff forgot about us, but that was ok because we weren't in a hurry. It felt like we dining in a private garden.

Food portion were hearty. Colorful and excited to our eyes. Made our mouths watered when the waiter presented our Cobb Salad that included a soft, ripe buttery half avocado, yummy thick crispy chopped smoked bacon and perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs (no green edged yolks!) and "Build Your Own Burger" with perfectly prepared juicy medium rare Niman Ranch ground beef, topped with crumble blue cheese and roasted bell peppers.

I had a great experience here! Had the Chorizo and eggs for breakfast, Presentation was fantastic, tasted great and the service was decent, waitress didn't seem very mindful or attentive!

We enjoy sitting out on the patio, and is perfect for when we have the kids with us. Sometimes the service can be slow when it's busy.

I keep returning for the friendly smiles and the salmon burger - hey - can I get that recipe? So good...
