Chantico Inn & Suites

Such an incredible old building with a lot of charm! Also a big hot tub, nice pool area, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, a decent continental breakfast, free wine in the evening, and lots of cute outdoor seating areas. The only downside is that they are clearly understaffed. The rooms weren't the cleanest, and sometimes there was no one at the front desk because she was busy cleaning rooms? Both women we interacted with though were truly wonderful. They could just use some help.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Chantico Inn in Ojai, and I am thrilled to share my exceptional experience!

The rooms at Chantico Inn are immaculately clean, and equipped with all the amenities one could desire, they provided a cozy sanctuary for relaxation. The attention to detail in the room decor and furnishings showcased the inn's commitment to creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

There is an outstanding staff. The team is not only professional but also incredibly warm and welcoming. Their genuine hospitality made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. Wanted to book a last minute getaway in Ojai and settled on Chantico Inn because it was the most reasonable in price and the location was excellent. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is dated but has a very unique charm that we thought was nice. Our favorite part was that it was walking distance to almost everything we did during our trip, which was very convenient. Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Ojai.

The hotel is so beautiful! The ambience the rooms the decor. All fantastic. The pool is heated. Loved the hot tub in the room. The staff Rosie and Maggie are so friendly and helpful. The evening the serve happy hour wine and snacks. Lovely continental breakfasts. Top notch accommodations. Love this place will be back

The hospitality at the Chantico Inn was outstanding. It poured rain steadily for the first couple of days of a 5-day meeting in Ojai. I woke up to a small ceiling leak that soaked most of my clothes during the first night. Management was very accommodating and ensured that the staff washed and dried my clothes and I was offered another room. The whole staff was very friendly throughout the 5 days. It was a very pleasant say. I definitely recommend the Chantico Inn for anyone visiting Ojai.

This place is located right in the heart of downtown Ojai. The rooms are elegant and comfortable. The staff was so friendly and inviting. One of them stopped what she was doing to help me get my gigantic suitcase up the stairs. I will definitely be coming back here to stay next time I’m in Ojai.

Great clean rooms. Nice set up. Close to everything in town for what we planned. Grounds were clean and tidy. I would recommend.
Loved their accomodations for pets and overall service. Because of this, we will definitely be back to support the business.

We are so delighted to have found the chantico inn! Beautiful environment very lovely spa in the room clean courteous great service and so convenient too hard jobs! The hot tub is wonderful the pool is great and the furniture and designs are exquisite! Thank you for creating such a environment for us to stay in while we look for a permanent home in Ojai!

We truly enjoyed our suite. Everything was to our liking. The inn is very charming and close to downtown.
The staff was very attentive, courteous, and respectful. They even helped us with our luggage up to the second story.
The breakfast was plentiful.

Perfect for a nice few nights of romance! My boyfriend and I stayed here and it was very relaxing and romantic. The inn is also close to places to eat rather to walk or drive, it's in a very convenient spot. The staff was super nice and the place is super cute and comfortable to stay at. I fully recommend! 😊

Life is easy at Chantico. Breakfast, happy hour and all day coffee in a charming room near the front desk. Very friendly staff. Clean, comfortable room with sweet private patio. Great location on the edge of town. You can walk everywhere. It’s a find!

LOVED our stay in this cute and quirky boutique hotel in Ojai. The staff was amazing and upgraded our room when there was an issue with the room keys. Perfect location and fun amenities. Thank you for having us!

The staff was warm and welcoming. The rooms are charming and comfortable. There are lots of beautiful tiles and antiques thru out. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to everything. I highly recommend.

Beautiful place with all sorts of arts, decoration and tile work. Great breakfast and most important friendly staff and employees. Worth the money, I would love to go back again.

I have stayed at the Chantico Inn on 5 separate occasions and appreciate its charm and beauty. The inn is uniquely decorated with stain glass, Tiffany lamps, antique furniture and art murals on front of building and pool area. The pool is heated and the hot tub is large.  Wifi is very good. A short walk to everything downtown. The office and housekeeping are welcoming and accommodating.  Jennifer the manager is one of a kind - I just love her. There was a time she helped decorate my room with christmas lights by the fireplace as surprise for my granddaughter! I will definitely be back!

Great staff Casey and Rosio. They were kind and attentive. Lovely rooms. Great location. Jacuzzi was nice at the end of the day.

I have been a Ventura County resident for the majority of my life and cannot believe it took me so long to find this gem!!!! We loved our stay and cannot wait to go back!!!! Staff was wonderful, the room was better than expected and had the best night sleep in a hotel in a long time!!!!! Worth every penny!!!!

This place along with the town of Ojai was the highlight of our trip so far. Amazing location, friendly staff. The pool and hot hub area was absolutely gorgeous. This was a great place to focus and hide away for a few days. We will absolutely be returning very soon.

This hotel is marvelous. You cannot find a better place to stay for a weeks vacation. I would suggest take a chance and give yourself a break and stay at this quiet and convenient hotel. The staff are gracious and kind.

My husband Scott and I had the most romantic stay at the Chantico inn the first week of December 2023 ..The jacuzzi tub in the bedroom was amazing. Thank you , Victoria Van Winkle 😘
