Amsdell Ice Cream

We absolutely love Amsdell!! I order their amazing ice cream cakes for almost every occasion we have. I have brought family from out of state for ice cream in the summer and they can’t stop raving about Amsdell ice cream!!

Went here at the recommendation of a local restaurant for dessert, and was not disappointed! Their prices were affordable, the ice cream was delicious, and they had so many different options for treats as well. Nice little outdoor space to sit and enjoy a nice day though it can be a little noisy with all the cars racing by.

I was trying to find a nice ice cream cake for my daughters birthday verse the typical store bought. Asked for some ideas and Amsdell came highly recommended. I messaged online and they responded right away. The cake was absolutely delicious and beautifully decorated. The best we’ve ever had and my daughter loved it! Thank you for making her 12th birthday special in the cold winter months.

Wonderful atmosphere, especially for being off a busy road. Really cool big chair. The prices are decent. My family ordered 2 large items, I got a "small" dipped cone and 2 pup cups. All of it was only $24. Their sizes are huge! Their pup cups are precious 😍 overall we'll definitely be back.

Such a delightful ice cream stand. I love the variety of not just flavors but different brands too. Not just all Perry’s here! The blueberry custard is one of the best to catch when it’s on special. And the unicorn sundaes are a great kids treat without being “too much”. Grab a cone and sit in the big chair, you won’t be disappointed.

The service was quick, and the ice cream was delicious.

Walked up to window and was greeted by a friendly young lady who took my order. Paid for my small cone, which was very good. Waited in less than a minute and my treat was in my hand!!!! Great service, great real ice cream , clean enviroment!!! Will surely be back!!!

Amsdell is a must ice cream stop, they give generous portions, cater to my sons nut allergies and have so many options. They also customize ice cream cakes which are amazing as well. Do not delay checking them out, you won't be dissapointed 😊

Selection is amazing. Staff was friendly and fast. Harvest Host parking area was full till they closed, but when the lot cleared it was quiet and spacious.

Very busy ice cream place serving Perry’s ice cream brand. Delicious and good prices. Stayed as Harvest Host member in a truck camper. They closed at 9 so a bigger rig would be okay for the night but not while they’re open. We waited at a parking lot across from Amsdell until closing then moved to safely park uninterrupted overnight. Called ahead. Owner is very friendly.

Amsdell Ice Cream is a must stop, greatly accommodated our sons Nut allergies, generous portions for the money, and taste is amazing!!! Just stop there already!! 😊

2018: Excellent! They give you a lot of ice cream for the price. They have Perry's hard ice cream and Upstate Farm's Soft Serve Ice Cream, which are delicious. Atmosphere is great both inside and out with great decorations. Clean and family friendly. The staff are friendly. This is definitely the best ice cream shop in the area!

2021: Update: Still great years later!! Only difference is new brands of ice cream adding to the choices!!

Lovely staff and excellent ice cream. Huge selection and everything is reasonably priced. I go there every season and even get their cakes for family functions! 10/10 would recommend!!!!!
