Big Lots

Absolutely great! Haven't been to the Matthew's location since apparently new management came in. They have performed miracles. The prior store was dirty, disorganized, products on the floor and just mixed on the shelves. What a pleasant surprise. The store appears immaculate, organized and well stocked. Friendly sales associates. Recomend.

There was a mix up on a chair we ordered from Big Lots Matthews Store. I can’t tell you how awesome the manager Bill treated us! He kindly took our information and said he would be in contact with us as soon as he knew the chair was coming into the store. Well, we have had other experiences with stores where they say one thing and you never hear from them again. Bill called multiple times to keep us updated. Last call he said chair was coming in and he was putting our name on it if we still wanted it. I can’t tell you how refreshing it is that there is a store manager that is good to his word and follows through to make his customers happy! This store now has my repeat business for as long as I live in this area. Also, this store is always clean and well organized when I visit. Thanks,Bill, for making your Big Lots a great shopping experience!

Really cool Halloween stuff compared to some shops across the street, just such a small selection.
And for a non-seasonal review, it's good, it is one of the shops I visit about once a month to just look around. Decent. Good for home goods. Imagine a big, better quality family dollar.

Nice store!!!! Helpful, friendly staff with a variety of household items. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the layout of this location. I don't think I've ever been in a Big Lots that was this well organized, this clean, and with staff this friendly. The furniture selection was excellent. The manager of the store helped me and my uncle decide on a couch for him. this was a very different experience from what I'm used to at Big lots. Thank you to the staff and I highly recommend this location.

Henry and Alex were so helpful and made our shopping experience perfect. We went to look at couches and ended up purchasing bedroom set, couch, recliner, bistro and tv stand! Hands down one of the best customer service we’ve had in a while! Thank you!

Another successful shopping spree at Big Lots today. Looking for some double curtain rods and they had just what I was wanting. They have a huge selection of Christmas decorations and toys and just about anything else you could possibly want. The deal of the day for me was a $5 daytimer for 2023. I normally pay a lot more for those. So head on out to Big Lots I don't think you'll be disappointed!

This store is clean, organized with very friendly staff. I called the store looking for a much sought after toy and was fortunate enough to speak with Lena. Lena researched the item, located and held it for me. She greeted us with a smile and said she was more than happy to do it. When checking out we had questions about an item found in the clearance section and once again, Lena came through. She verified the price with the manager and because it was in the clearance section he approved the sale at a much larger discount. I will be shopping at the Mathews location going forward.

Five stars because you can back wayyyy up to the door and they will help you load bigger stuff. They are wicked nice.

By far the best customer service I have ever experienced in 39 years of my life. Truly... There was an issue with an order but the manager ,Bill, honestly went above and beyond not with just fixing the problem but with his honesty and empathy as well.. This store Is farther then 2 other big lots from where I live but I will only go here. Bill you have a customer for life.

Bob was super helpful in helping me find a Christmas tree.

James made my furniture purchase quite easy and I might add fun. I was able to use my discount on an already great priced item which made me very happy. Smooth process was done in whole.

Nick was wonderful! Truly great customer service! My husband and I were impressed. I really like that store. It is laid out well. I will definitely be back there to shop.

Overall, I love big lots. It stinks that you can't always find the same stuff but you can still find a lot of good things here.

I couldn't find what I wanted but left $10 coupon with cashier to give to next customer. I will be back.

Good Location in a seemingly underused shopping complex w/ quite a few empty spaces... but we're here about this store, after all. Good selection, friendly/helpful staff *and* management. Always clean!
