Love it!! And the grilled ham sandwich was amazing! Great vibes and super clean! Employees were super helpful and nice!

The food was wonderful and the people were very kind! I had a pimento cheese sandwich and potato salad while my wife had BLT and chips. The serving sizes were plentiful.

We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved the feel of the store, my first visit. The reclaimed building, but all of the decor inside really makes you feel like you could be back 100 years ago. The dining area even gave the same vibe, almost felt like I was going to hop on my horse when I left.

Super friendly staff, awesome display and selections of meat cuts in the coolers, and a nice variety on the menu. We enjoyed our food and have no doubts we will be back when around!

Great Place to stop on way to mountains! Great Deli with Amish meats and cheeses! Butcher shop has everything you need! Have to try the Germans Lebanese Bologna! Awesome service!

Decided to stop in for lunch while visiting Lincolnton. We had the Apple Q sandwich and a Turkey Swiss & Lettuce sandwich on wheat bread. The food was very good and the atmosphere was great. Would definitely recommend!

Awesome little butcher shop and fantastic sandwiches! I finally came in on my lunch break, and the place was packed! Service was excellent and FAST. My turkey sandwich was exactly how I ordered it. I will definitely be back, and I must pick up some steaks next time!

First of all, I want to say the food there is absolutely fantastic! But I wish the menu had more sandwich options,. Yes I understand you have the option to build your own but, I feel like they need a little bit more on the menu.. You can’t be serving sandwiches up that are that good and not have more to offer.

AMAZING FOOD!!!! Fresh, affordable, and friendly staff!! I came for lunch and it was so good that I called my love and said I'm going to pick up dinner here since I live in Hickory but was working in Lincolnton today! Definitely a must when I'm in Lincolnton or feel like making a trip here. Thank yall so much!!!

We absolutely love The Meating Place!! The meats are the best!! We live on the coast of NC & when we come in town we bring our cooler & load up! The staff is amazing!! So friendly & gives the best recommendations!!

This is an excellent butcher shop to have local. While it is more expensive than the chain grocery stores it is really nice to support a small local business and the quality is not even close. I bought seafood pork steak hamburger meat bread and lots of other things from this shop and have not been disappointed. The past two fillets I have grilled came from this shop and they were perfectly marbled 2 inch thick beautiful steaks and was told by multiple people that it was the best steak they had ever eaten. They said no restaurant has cooked the steak better than that. To put it into perspective for $25 I got two fillets they were both 8 oz each for 6 oz filet at longhorn steakhouse is $28 and it doesn't even compare to this

We just stopped for the fresh meats. Bought some Ribeye, awesome steaks. Little pricey but well worth it. They are also a deli, will have to try that someday.

This cool butcher and sandwich shop is in the middle of downtown Lincolnton. Stopped here going through town today and could not be more pleased. The Reuben is AMAZING....I mean truly AMAZINGGGGGG....I will have dreams about this sandwich. The pasta salad was just like how Mom makes it for a church picnic. The meats looked fresh and there was a wide variety of cuts and meats. Could not recommend this place more!

Everyone is very friendly especially Jeremy and the smoked turkey is the best and the flank steak is very good best meat store around

Rico greeted us as we came in and was very friendly. He recommended the meatball sub, which he makes himself, to my wife and I. It was fantastic! My wife had the Reuben, and it was also great! Definitely coming back next time I’m in Lincolnton!

Very cool location in downtown Lincolnton! Staff are friendly and always happy to help and the sandwiches are delicious for lunch! Reasonable prices on dine-in options and fresh meat, too. Nice selection of Amish deli items available, as well. Will definitely be back!
