KFC

I remember when I went to 5 years ago it was the worst KFC that I ever had. We got famous bowls and they tasted of really old oil and somehow the corn was all dry and the entire bowl was full of gravy.

but recent times that I've been going it's been pretty good! chickens fresh and crispy and the sides have been delicious and not old tasting.

I recommend you give this place a second chance. I know you don't go to spi for fried chicken but it's here if you crave it.

Clean place. Good food and excellent service! You won't go wrong stopping for some time traditioned goodness. And, thank you again to the staff who so kindly paid for my meal when my card wouldn't work. He was very patient and didn't embarrass me. Just took care of me. So very grateful and thankful. If I knew your name, I'd post because you deserve special acknowledgment. You went above and beyond, and I am again, so very thankful, appreciative, and glad you were working the day I stopped in.

Best KFC allows clean great staff good food

Yesterday, 11-2-22, at dinner time, I went thru the drive-thru in my beach golf cart, staff was friendly & loved my lime green running lights, which glowed brightly at dusk.

The food order was perfectly prepared, hot food & they even got my unsweet tea correctly (most other places serve sweet tea, so I always check it before I leave).

Friendly staff & great food, they even managed to get my order correctly. I’m impressed, as restaurants are having such a hard time getting good help.

Congrats, Mr Manager!!!
PS Forget any negative reviews, as they are just folks that don’t understand how difficult it is in the restaurant business during post-COVID.

The franquise it have better taste than in Mexico. Great

Great Food and great prices. I would expect to pay more being on South Padre Island but its the same as everywhere else. Service is always fantastic and super fast. I sometimes wonder if they are going to stay in business as it seems to slow for a fast food restaurant. I still think it should be called Kentucky Fried Chicken instead of KFC but I love the original recipe. Also, Fried chicken is way healthier than hamburgers and is very light if you remove the skin but then who wants to do that!

This was by far the best Kentucky Fried Chicken we have been to. After our last experience at KFC in Northern Missouri I had almost sworn of of any KFC's. This one changed my mind. It was clean, the staff were friendly and the food was good! We will be back!

I am a big fan of Chicken restaurants and this KFC is on of the best in the chain. Consistantly serving perfectly cooked, large pieces of quality chicken. Staffed with friendly adults, this is a winner.

The cleanest and neatess location I've ever seen. The staff was lite, but you wouldn't know it because they worked very well together to take care of the customers.

i always buy the kfc bowl only i came to this one at the island they did it pretty low, first the manager offered to change it then gave me my money bag and let me eat the food, honestly great management!! thats the correct way to treat your customers he told me first they use everything measured then the scoops changed doesnt matter the excuses because he made me happy at the endd !!! cheers to the manager !

Someone grabbed our Togo order but they realized it and made us a fresh order without us even noticing. Called our number and we were happy. 10/10

Definitely a place that you must visit if you're tired of the overpriced and extravagant fare of a typical tourist atmosphere that dominates this island Paradise. KFC always was and always will be a welcome staple for those of us who desire nothing more than a well balanced and reasonably priced meal on the go. Be sure to share pleasantries with the local staff who are bilingual and very friendly and ready to cater to your needs as well. Don't hesitate to say hello to the staff managers Blanca and Geraldo, as well as your servers, Jose, Cheyenne, Sandra and Berlinda who are always ready to welcome you with a friendly smile and treat you like family while you are there! Everybody needs a little KFC!

Great service by a young man. Not only was he friendly but a hard worker busy cleaning & even held the door open for us when we left.

totally loved my time there. compared to other KFC's in the Valley they are top notch clean and the food is great.

Love their Chicken strips. Great food, fast service. But no more go cups. Bummer.
