Dwight at the Teutonia Ave. Post Office is very friendly and very helpful, even though I have about a 25% success rate at actually getting letters and packages delivered to a post office box there... sometimes it takes WEEKS, even if mailed priority mail.

Using PO Box for 30 yrs

Nothing to the contrary about the post office per say, but I live on 12th on capitol the postman delivers my mail and instead of the postman walking down my steps, he crosses my lawn and damaged my extended downspout my stepping on it because he is too lazy to go down a few steps to go to the next house. Leaving a trail in the summer. Unprofessional, I will also go to the post office as well as email whatever it takes, I have a ring device which allows me to see this.

Lady with the dreads in the front has a horrible attitude for no reason, she was even being snotty toward old ladies where one of them their back was bent really low, the dread head post lady was still evil. God don't like ugly. Anyway she was still sending my mail to my old address from my house I sold. Claiming no address change forms for several weeks. The manager Chris tries to side with the dread head Ms. ATTITUDE! I'm too professional to go low and accept bad vibrations from them. I truly hate this place and they need courtesy people in hear that has caring ethics, and not playing games with people mail. These workers should get charged with tempering with federal mail bottomline! 😒 One sad place to have important mail coming snd going from! I hope the consumer Affairs address these several issues at this location! I also would like the Mayor to step in since consumer Affairs not addressing things professionally!

HAVE NOT BEEN RECEIVING MY MAIL AND PACKAGES FOR A MONTH AND A HALF! THEN THE WORKERS ARE VERY RUDE AND REFUSE TO HELP WITH THE ISSUE

If I could give this office 0 stars I would. I purchased a PO BOX due to losing my home in a house fire. I paid for a PO BOX for 6 months up front. I went to check my mailbox and it was completely empty even know the USPS Mail website stated that I was receiving mail for the last 3 days. I spoke with the clerk that was working and she stated that PO BOX was empty because it was not purchased by anyone. Another Clerk stepped beside her and looked at the same computer and informed her that that PO BOX had actually been purchased. That is when I was informed that when I purchased this PO Box The mail clerk did not place my name on the PO BOX and due to this all of my mail was returned due to being undeliverable. I spoke with the Supervisor and requested the mail clerks name to file a complaint and he refused to provide their name

I had to sign up and get Informed Delivery on the USPS website so I can know what mail or packages I am supposed to receive cause I'm constantly not getting my mail and or packages. This is bogus that I have to hunt down my mailman on a regular basis and even then still have issues. No notification of packages that were supposed to be delivered all because I live in an apartment building and he doesn't want to walk up the steps. But yet can't even leave the notice slip saying I have a package and said he couldn't leave it due to no secure location even though I live in a locked building and he seems to want to pick and choose when or what packages he's going to deliver or should I just say leave on the floor under the mailboxes. And since when did they make it okay for the mailmen/women to not actually walk up to the door, no matter if it's a house or a 3flight apartment building, & knock to deliver the packages and then if no answer at the door to either leave package/packages or even the notice at the door? That's how it use to be so when did it change?

I agree with the reviewer, if there was a zero, that would be my rate. The carrier service is awful. I have submitted Hold mail forms, and mail was still delivered. I met the mail carrier at the door delivering the pink slip instead of the package. NEVER had the package. The manager had to come back with my packages. I listen to their lies, then I tell them I have CAMERAS!!!!! Update: another package gone!. So tired of this.

It's so sad to say but this post office should be closed. I try and patronize bussiness in my community but after my last encounter with them I'm done!. Mail keep coming up missing. Had a notice went in to get my mail and they havent found it yet mind you since june 12th. So had another package come. July5 usps app says my package was signed for. Mind you I'm at work and no one else is at home. Neighbor knows the trouble I've had with this so she watched the mailman come to my door with a package and return to truck with same package. So where did it go? No one signed for it. Bottom line im getting a po box downtown so i never have to deal with them again. I had a po box there before for 10 years but noticed how bad the service had gotten and ended it. Sad the people from the community don't care about our community, it shows in the service you get.

I have lost many packages, items show as being delivered by tracking number but were not in my mailbox, mail boxes have been found open and unlocked, mail put in wrong boxes, flyers with addresses just left in a bundle on steps or on the floor.
Temps not being trained properly or not at all.

I have been waiting on my package for over a week and it still have not been delivered. Everytime I call to see what happened they come up with the same excuse,"we tried to deliver it and no-one was home". Either me or my fiance is always home. They were just too lazy to bring my package. Don't worry, I will be there first thing in the morning.:O

Have been trying to get our mail ACTUALLY delivered for months now since we moved into the area. They take the info but still no mail and were told that they send back our mail because the place we live looks abandoned. Not their choice to make at all! We are facing plenty of issues due to things including taxes not being delivered!!! This place needs proper training and better management or get shut down!

Only getting 1 star cause I can't give their ratchet asses 0 stars. My mailman NEVER picks up my mail unless she needs to put something in my mailbox. Since I work from home and have time sensitive things that need to be mailed by a certain date I called an reported her at least 4 times. You think she collects my outgoing mail? Of course not.

I have sent video recording from my outdoor cameras to show the mail person not even attempting to deliver my packages .. and nothing was done . It makes me feel .. because of where I stay my voice not heard .. because honestly i have no problem giving alternate options on where to put my packages if I’m not there .. or at least leave a note or slip .. but I’m consistently going thru my packages being sent back unless I check the sellers website for updates ..it’s such a hassle to deal with this location ..but seeming that we have alderman and senators locally to contact .. it’s time I put my complaint in with someone who will hear what I have to say .

Had been waiting on a package to be delivered for over a week. I track the package online, and it states the post office said it was an undeliverable address. However, I've been receiving mail and other orders at this location for months. I call to inquire about my package, and am told that they have it, but they don't know where it is. WHAT???? How do u have it but not know where it is??? Their reply: It might have been taken to another location.
But why would it be taken to another post office when clearly this is the one that should have it??? I've been told so many lies by so many employees there. I've been told they would track it down and personally deliver it. I've been told "Oh yeah, we found it last night, and it should be delivered today". Etc........My work schedule and their hours of operations are the only thing keeping me from going up there and literally going postal on them!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!

All the employees behind the counter are very rude, and disrespectful! I wouldn't go back there again even if they gave me a "Free" sheet of stamps!!!

I always get a ton of “attempted delivery” notifications, but I never get a slip/notification left behind in my mailbox! This prevents packages from being received in a timely manner!
