Oh my goodness! Josh is FANTASTIC! So patient and knowledgeable about what he’s talking about. He asked me and my partner multiple questions about what games we liked/what we were looking for, gave us plenty of options and thoroughly explained each of them, and made sure we left satisfied! Can’t wait to try our new game “Gloom!” Thank you so much, Josh!

Staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable- they make the experience of stopping in fun for me and my daughter.

Went in to browse and found a couple fun nerdy games. Also didn't know Arkham Horror was a 1-4 player game and that there is a card game version!

Well organized colorful exciting store, had just what I was looking for.
I was looking for a kite. They had many sizes, types, colors in different price ranges. For adults and kids alike.

For those that don't have electricity or simply choose the life of yore - this place has an excellent selection of games and stuff to do during power outages! Really cool and quite retro at this point.

Your one stop shop for everything role playing or tabletop games. The employees are very knowledgeable. They also have game nights that are available, free, to the public. It's a great place to get your toes wet if you've never played before! Not to mention this company has been family owned, right here in Minnesota for the past 40 years. I highly recommend them, their products, & services!!

Employees got to know what kind of games I liked best, what kind of friends and environment we enjoy best, and were able to refer a handful of top games for us. Very knowledgeable of all games and very friendly to work with. Moreover , the game was priced the same online as in store so still got a great deal

Games by James always does an absolutely fantastic job. The store is jam packed with all sorts of board and card games, and it's always kept clean and well stocked. Plus the people who work there are always very knowledgeable about their inventory too!

I found this store by accident. I felt like a kid in a candy store. It's a board gamer's dream. The staff was friendly. The store was clean and there were signs for social distancing. I found a game that I had been trying to locate for weeks. This will be my new go to spot.

The manager answered all my questions. Took time to help me. I didn't feel rushed. Felt valued as a customer. I WILL BE BACK

Did "Pop-up Gen Con" at the store this year. So fun! Played tons of new games. Staff was so friendly and helpful!

They oughta rename this place Games by SAM, because that dude was so helpful and informative.

Great store in Ridgedale Mall The store has lots of games and toys I really enjoy shopping in this store I would highly recommend shopping in this store for card and board games
