Kingston Farmers Market

What A Beautiful Spot! Being a new resident here in Kingston & Ulster County (2 months), I really wanted to check-out their Farmers Market. Yesterday my sister Denise & I set out to see what the big talk was all about. Needless to say, we weren't disappointed.

There was a nice array of local farmers & businesses on display & selling goods. It was AWWWWWSOME!!! Lol! There was pizza, kimchee, cheese, raw fish/meats, fruits, veggies, maple syrup, essential oil tinctures, some of the BIGGEST corn on the cobs I've ever seen, honey, and sooooo much more. They even had entertainment; a young singer. He was pretty good too.

My favorite part? The dogs! People brought their wonderful pet-friends, and there were many. There were children as well, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I loved it. I also met a fellow Jamaican. He was in the fruit section & helped me pick-out some *yummy white peaches & doughnut white peaches - which I never knew existed.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been able to visit this market & I have to say, it’s gotten even better than it was before. The ability to buy locally green beans, flowers, and vegetables year round is simply amazing.

In late April, I was able to buy seedless Concord grapes that has been kept in a coolers since the fall and though they were a little mushy, they were still incredibly delicious. Talk about a miracle!

Looking forward to making my visits a regular thing once again. I truly missed it!

We love going to this market. We visited this past Saturday. We truly enjoy the atmosphere. They had live music, and our favorite food are the tamale 🫔 stand and the aguas frescas. We also enjoy the cheese 🧀 stands. One thing that I have to bring up is that it is impossible to get fresh garlic. I understand that the garlic is organic and picked by hand, but $19.00 a lb? Is a shame. NY has the best tasting garlic

Wonderful selection of artisans and farmers

This is a great farmer's market in a great location. Vendors are spread out nicely, there is an awesome selection of fruits, veggies, alcohol, homemade foods, breads, seafood, flowers and more. The vibe is pretty chill, and I'd definitely go every weekend if I lived locally!

Fruits, veggies, meats, and more. They had an area in the middle with some live music and many people from town came out to enjoy the festivities. It apparently happens every Saturday in season. We picked up some supplies for our weekend and I enjoyed my cider donut while we walked around. It is not huge, but they have everything that you expect from a classic farmers market. I was impressed how clean and organized many of the vendors were.

One of the best regional farmer's markets. Huge selection of vendors showcasing locally-grown fruits, vegetables, locally-raised meat, poultry and even fish, bread, pastries, and other farm-sourced products. Additionally, pop-up vendors change every week for even more variety.
There are also music performances and community outreach initiatives.
Summer market is held outdoors every Saturday, winter market, indoors, every other Saturday.
The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming.
A wonderful nexus to catch up with friends and make new ones, learn where your food comes from and interact with people who grow it. And to overall enjoy the immense bounty that lower Hudson Valley has to offer.

Oooh, I loved it! The vendors had everything, from fish to fudge. When it came to prices, I found them completely affordable. I’m so happy my family decided to stop here. 💛

Local, organic produce, bread, meat and lots of other goodies

Incredible food can be found here for a fraction of the price of organic food at whole foods. All local stuff and the big cheese stand has some of the best cheese & Middle Eastern Hummus I have ever tried.

One of the best farmers market in Ulster County. Such a great community and tons of people on bicycles and walking dogs. If you can go, definitely arrive and get some great apples.

Love the variety. They have somthing for everyone. Good prices fresh produce and meats great selection of products.

So many great local farms! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. Very affordable and wonderful selection of seasonal produce. Looking forward to going back!

Fantastic array of vendors. Fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, soaps, wines, etc. Very organized. They've adapted admirably to Covid-19. We try to never miss it!

Best farmers market in the Hudson Valley! Bring an ice pack to keep your greens fresh in your bag, because you're going to want to hang out for awhile!

Always great no matter the weather. Good fresh veggies, flowers, cheeses. The uptown stores are great. Vincenzo's has great food. Uptown business are great!!!

In my opinion, it is one of the best farmers makets in the Hudson Valley. Not to mention the plethora of stores, bars, and restaurants in the uptown area one could patronize when they have finished buying their lacal goods and produce.

Great atmosphere, many organic products

Excellent fresh local farm and artisanal food and beverage choices. They have it all. There are always some surprises as well.
