Vortex has always been a great place. They are a bit lacking for anything but Horizon Hobby when it comes to RC planes and lately parts for planes have been dwindling but they are still pleasant to work with.

Amazing and AWESOME Hobby Store!!! These guys know what they are doing ! So helpful. I went in simply to ask a question and walked out buying 5 cars and 2 boats! (Damn I forgot the milk!)

These guys are AWESOME! I'd give them 10 stars if I could. I took my RC truck that hasn't been used in 5 years to them. Drive line needed to be fixed. I bought the part and they installed it free of charge.

There have been a few guys here who push their opinion as fact. Other than those few, the rest are great! They have a ton of stock parts and some hop up parts, too. I've hit every rc shop in the state, and these guys are one of the best.

Very very knowledgeable. Walked me thru getting my kids first ever car. Knew what went with what and everything else. They really know their stuff and you can tell they are enthusiasts in their own right

Great hobby shop. Nice people. For airplanes they have e-flight, horizon, hanger nine, FMS and rage. They might have more but this is what i saw.

Vortex Hobby has the best customer service! From visiting the store for help with an RC car that we were having trouble with, to placing an order online for in-store pick-up, the staff has always provided only the best service.
Several months ago, my son purchased an RC car (not at Vortex). When he was experiencing issues with the car, the staff at Vortex was able to quickly identify what was wrong, and made adjustments to get him back on track. When he quickly made another error, they again quickly helped him get his car in running order, all the while never making him feel bad for his user error.
Today, I placed an online order that stated it would be ready today. However, the person who handles online orders was gone for the day. The staff figured out what they needed to do in order to accommodate today's pick-up, delighting both my son and me.
I can't recommend this store (and staff) highly enough! Just wish there were more like them!

Good place. I would definitely recommend going if you have lots of money. I got a rc plane for 159, they have lots of equipment. They have rc planes, boats, cars, and helicopters. They have levels to beginners all the way to pro's. THEY EVEN HAVE AIRSOFT EQUIPMENT.
