Andy's Frozen Custard

Growing up in Springfield, Missouri, there were limited good frozen treats, but when Andy's Frozen Custard opened up, it changed so many lives. It is never just getting something delicious it is also an experience with all the lights, great customer service and depending on the time of year a cool refreshing treat in the hot months or get toasty by the heaters in the cooler months. It feels like getting a treat at the county fairgrounds minus the rides.
The S. National Ave location is amazing and the history of the new and old building is so thoughtful of the owners. Well done.

This newly opened Andy’s Frozen Custard location is outstanding. The custard is extremely fresh and delicious. The staff was very accommodating and courteous. This location recently opened, it’s is extremely busy, but they do a good job serving all customers efficiently and alleviating a long wait. If you enjoy frozen custard this is a great place to visit.

First time we had been to this location. I love that they have taken the previous business signage and incorporated it here. Gives it a bit of nostalgia for those of us that have watched Springfield change since the 80's.
The Apple Pie Concrete is what I wait for all year! (Add some caramel for an amazing concrete!)

My dad and I visited this new location after the job fair I attended yesterday. Dad ordered us an Apple Pie Concrete to share, and we really enjoyed it.
This special treat at this new location was my idea because, after all, it is in the vicinity of Missouri State University, from where I earned my Bachelor's degree.

They have a seasonal pumpkin pie concrete, which is a piece of pumpkin pie blended into vanilla frozen custard. I can just about make myself sick on these, they're so good.

If you don't like Andy's, it is debatable whether or not we can be friends. I will question both your intent on this planet, as well as your basic humanity. Can you truly be of the goodly peoples and not enjoy frozen custard desserts? The place is clean, aesthetically pleasing, and they serve deliciousness with speed and accuracy. You naysayers take that evil elsewhere.

By far the best customer service. It was around closing time when my family of 5 went for ice cream to celebrate a school function. The young lady made sure we understood and even helped the little two with their selection. They did not rush our order, and was very friendly from start to finish.

So. Had the pumpkin pie concrete. Again! Just great. Not too sweet (all things considered!). Favorite may still be Spanish peanuts (or pecan) with melted chocolate chip tho. Hard to break old habits. But love their seasonal specials!

The first place I came when I returned to Springfield. It is amazing. Perfect. Consistent.

So, I'm taking my son home, driving down National and pass Andy's. My granddaughter tells me, " Omg!😋 Mimi, do you think we should stop there for ice cream on the way back? I said do you? She said, I have been very good today( smh🤦) lol
I'm just saying that we did in fact stop at there Elm & Cherry location. Of course my sweet girl needed a strawberry concrete 😩. Let me tell you all that these kind folks gave my granddaughter a cup with her frozen yogurt and a side cup with fresh strawberries in it!!!! They made sure that my 3yr old knew she was important and mattered too! That's rare these days and very much appreciated by my family. Go see dude yourself, they always have gone above & beyond for anyone!!!

Their system was down when we arrived so they actually gave us all our frozen custard wants for absolutely free. How cool is that?

Grandkids were pleasantly surprised by the new location this afternoon. The traffic on National seemed unusually busy, loud and fast though. It would be good if we could get a little break on the inflationary pressure on the prices.

It's Andy's. A local chain that serves frozen custard with stuff in it, if you want. It's a little on the pricier side but I've never felt ripped off.

Her butt was so nice I didn't care what she ordered or where she wanted to eat I even let her order for me so she could share with me too :they did give my dog a free cone

Went to a hockey game and got a free sundae ingot a strawberry reg it was way to much but was awesome did have to wait along time fast service and the best five star all the way
