Fantastic shop! Great place for newbies starting an activity and experienced people looking to fill the gaps in their supplies.

Fun mix of new and used items. Snagged a new hat from Nepal, a jacket (like new new) should have been $200+ for $50, and a camping shower system!

Definitely going to make it a frequent stop and bring in some of our items that need someone new to love them!

Amazing little shop. The west has an amazing history of the outdoors and walking into a store like this is like a time capsule. I'd imagine that the community is pretty active in the outdoors and I'd say that the gear selection shows it. There wasn't much for me to look at besides the really old items. The newer stuff or good stuff had probably been poached. I would come here again to look around.

Jared the owner is super friendly and extremely helpful in selecting the right gear needed for whatever outdoor activity adventure you have planned. If you're not sure what gear you need or you're looking for quality gear that you can depend on when you're backcountry hiking, then this is the place you need to go!

I was visiting Olympia earlier this summer and was happy to discover the Olympia Gear Exchange as I wandered around downtown.

Great selection of new and vintage gear at very reasonable prices. Jared was great - friendly, helpful, and knowledgable.
I bought several things and am very happy with my purchases.

Nice store, great way to save a buck and the environment by buying used. Nice and friendly employees. Ever changing inventory, so go back often.

Talk about a lucky find! Poor planning on my part required a last minute purchase of a snow jacket and pants. I tried several places that were too expensive, or they didn't have my size, before I messaged OGE. I scored a full matching set in my size of decent quality! Definitely recommend!

Great place, fair prices, always plenty of quality gear in there. The guy that works there is knowledgeable and engaging. I think it's always worth checking here before buying new gear.

This is a really great shop. I dropped in on a whim with a friend and I enjoyed paroosing through some really nice items on consignment.

Olympia's best spot for getting quality used outdoor gear. They have a few new things as well. Stop here before you go to REI if you're looking for something. Definitely worth stopping if you are just wandering around downtown for the day as well.
