I had such a fun time visiting! They have a great atmosphere, there are also some fun drinks too. I also loved how they had a sit down section to just to chat with your friends and play board games. They also had a club side too so you could really pick your own energy at that time.

The dark esthetic and plants everywhere were totally my vibe. If you’re looking for a chill place to drink a few and relax with your friends or dance with your partner then this is the place for you!

Music is really good. DJ in the second space was mixing really well and we had fun dancing. Great night!

We returned to this bar recently on a Sunday afternoon after several years.

They have changed the layout a little bit: there is a DJ station and a dance floor where the door to the outdoor patio used to be (not sure if they still have the patio).

The atmosphere however is still the same.
The place consists in just one big room with booths on the sides and a big bar in the center; it’s dark with reddish lights which make it very relaxing (well, during the day: I’m sure it’s a different story at night).

I was also glad to see that they still can make great strong drinks!

Both the bouncer at the door and the bartenders were friendly, and their prices are decent.

The only negative part is that they are located in the heart of Miami Downtown, which is very busy and crowded every day at all times and has very limited parking: luckily there is a garage just nearby.

Visiting from out of town and had a great time. It was a free Sunday night party and the DJ played everything, very versatile. The drinks were good and service was pretty fast. It’s a large place so had a lot of room to move around. It was pouring out so it wasn’t packed, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would come back. The staff was pretty cool too.

Cool place. They got 2 rooms with different types of music. Drinks were good, price is affordable. Music was a fire.

I visited Blackbird Ordinary on a Thursday night. It was a pleasant experience. The security will pat you down for the safety of everybody. Once you get in, it’s pretty dark but the music is fantastic. We were promptly taken care of by the bartender which was great. It’s not a ripoff at all, around $12 for a Jack n Cola. You can’t beat it in Miami. Awesome place, I’ll be back!

Finally a not overly pretentious bar in the heart of brickle AND it's affordable 🤭 who would've thought?

Black bird is Great for happy hours, weekend dancing ( they have a club on the backside open weekends only) and just overall board game hangs. New Orleans vibes in Miami. Which we very much needed . We miss Nola.

Blackbird is always one of my favorite places to go. Not just on the weekends, but ladies' night on a Tuesday is a vibe. They also did a little renovation recently this year in the back part of the club by making more VIP booths, which I love to get when it's a special occasion or when I'm just feeling boujie lol.
The music selection usually never disappoints, and the drinks are always made with extra love. I like the front room that has some booths, a good sized bar area, a DJ and colorful dance floor, but my favorite is the larger back room. It has a glass ceiling, VIP tables, bar and another DJ booth playing different music. I always have the best time dancing my a$$ off with my people. This is a must stop spot when visiting or when you locals need a great spot with a variety of music.

One of the few more casual bars in brickell with more of a club vibe on the back end that they’ve redone in the last year or so to make it less unfinished basement feel. Different DJ for each area so you can switch vibes.

Starts getting filled around 11:30 - probably 60/40 women to men (on this particular Saturday night)

Great vibes, good music! The Dj at the entrance bar is more versatile and had a wide range of hits to play. Loved it!

Good for drinks and to go with your friends to chill and dance. Music is good. Gets packed. Overall its good. Didn't had any issues.

If you're into disco balls and discount funk, this might be the place for you. Relaxed and casual, which is refreshing for the area it's in. Friendly bar staff and good drinks. Decent happy hour too. After around 9pm the tables are reserved for table service but you can still sit at the bar.

My favorite club whenever I’m in Miami. Ladies night is such a vibe. The weekends are a vibe. Great music, great time!

Im not sure if John still owns black bird but its kind pf like Purdy all over again! I love this spot. Crowd is a bit on the younger side but cool vibes
