Brian Powell -- Photo & Video

It's really phenomenal working with Brian. I've been able to have multiple head shots taken by Brian in this studio and every time I'm always so impressed. The studio space is wonderful to work in and is surprisingly versatile. Not only have I had great photo shoots, that centered on head shots for the most part but we've utilized the space for a film as well. On top of that, Brian conducts workshops for aspiring photographers and the studio can be used to focus on lighting (natural or artificial), set dressing or just how to work with a model.

Purdue University's College of Health and Human Sciences (HHS) has worked with Brian on a variety of projects (events, Life 360 magazine, international students brochure, head shots, video, and more). His photography is stunning---so much so that someone on our leadership team has declared she wants Brian to take her photos for the rest of her life! Brian has a calming presence and is very patient. He's a good collaborator and a pleasure to work with. Brian, thanks for making HHS look good!

Our office uses Brian to provide headshots for our students. He is always responsive, professional, and flexible. His set up is portable and quick and he is seemingly in and out with his gear. He is also able to turn around the photos quickly and that's helpful for our clients. To add to the review--he is a good person as well. I care about the quality of the product first, but when I also look forward to catching up with the person providing it then that's value added. Thanks!

Brian had to shoot a combination of still life images and a portrait for a book I am authoring. He had minimal amount of time to execute the shoot. However, his diligent preproduction and knowledge of lighting enabled him to deliver an excellent series of photos on time.
