LMC Urgent Care - Chapin

No one wants to go to the ER or Urgent Care, but things do happen. When my primary care doc couldn't fit me in after a pretty bad fall, we chose LMC Urgent Care - Chapin. They actually made a painful and unpleasant ordeal a pleasant one, as strange as that sounds. My husband and I both were incredibly impressed with Dr. Waldrop and the entire staff that day. They were above and beyond in their efforts to ensure I was well cared for and got in and out quickly. Every person we encountered was friendly and compassionate. So much so that here I am nearly 2 weeks later, praising them in a review. Thank you for such great care! I believe we should say something when we encounter good service and good people. 😉

This is my third time taking a child to the LMC Chapin branch and all 3 times I was grateful to have Dr Short listen to my concerns and execute appropriate care. One time was for a head laceration on a hysterically screaming 4yo and today checking my child for pneumonia. They took us back immediately to triage with no wait, ran tests, took a chest x-ray, listened to my concerns and diagnosed her with bronchitis from RSV once labs were run and the X-ray was clear. We didn't get that level of diagnosis from our family doctor this week. I'm very grateful for Dr Short's care and the entire staff was genuinely friendly and kind. It was as good of an experience as you could ask for from a medical office.

Let me start with the last time we used LMC Urgent Care (about 2yrs ago it was terrible). Well I guess they figured out that sick people need to be respected and taken care of. Yesterday we went and was VERY pleasantly surprised. Everyone from the receptionist to the RN and the Doctor were all VERY NICE. The doctor was a nice down to earth guy who definitely knew what he was doing. My wife was treated very professionally. Now I can honestly recommend LMC Urgent Care.

Let me start out by saying, I always read reviews. With that being said, I was hesitant to visit LMC Chapin because of the mixed Google reviews. I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of care I received. The check-in process was smooth, the facility was clean. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and kind. I can’t remember the last time I visited an Urgent Care facility where multiple staff members told me a simple “hope you feel better”. I feel very fortunate to have an Urgent Care close to home that I know I can trust if needed again in the future.

Friendly Staff and Doctors, Fast and Efficient. Our family is so grateful to have these fine folks so close to home. We have been so pleased with LMC Urgent Care in Chapin that we switched to LMC for Primary Care.

I've never had a faster health care experience in my life! I am accustomed to any type of walk-in, urgent care, or ER taking hours to be helped. Not here! I was in, through front desk, vitals processed, saw the doc and was on my way in less than 30 minutes.

I have NEVER had such fast turn around in health care in my entire life! This was even with me asking to switch pharmacies from my previous provider to a local one here in Chapin which required them to cancel at my old and call in a new. They would have been completely done with me in 25 minutes otherwise.

I will certainly be back if the need ever arises and am grateful to have LMC in the Chapin area! Thank you for the excellent care and service :)

Have nothing but wonderful things to say about all the folks up there! The lab technician, in particular, was very helpful in running some obscure labs I needed (not to mention being a very kind woman). Each doctor I have seen has been knowledgeable and empathetic. I am very grateful for this urgicare as they've been able to help me at times when my primary has been unavailable. Thank you all for your service!!

I have been on the hunt for a decent doctor lately since my current one has his head in his posterior and today I needed some urgent care due to an allergic reaction I contracted during the night. My primary doc will make you wait 4 hours....yes 4 dreadful hours without a lick of cell phone signal to keep you half way entertained. Not even a good tv. So I opted out of going to see this guy and came here and boy....I am glad I did. I have left bad reviews for the Parkridge Urgent Care and Doctors care due to them being absolutely dreadful. First off I was treated with respect and had everything explained to me thoroughly while signing in even though some of my questions were a bit dumb. I was the first one in the door and was seen pretty quick for a doctors office. I have heard so many good things about Dr McCord and how thorough he is with his diagnosis and how he LISTENS to what you say unlike most docs. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see him today but I was able to see Dr Winn, who in my mind was just the exact same as how people were describing Dr McCord. He came in, had a look at my lip. And explained THOROUGHLY everything he thought was going on or what may have happened. And in my inexperience, he explained to me EVERYTHING about an Urgent Care doctor and how they work. I just can't get over how thorough he is. I also described the headaches I had been getting lately and he also prescribed me some blood pressure meds while I was there. Im like...WOW somebody is actually trying to help me! The last 2 urgent care docs I mentioned above, treated me like I was a drug addict trying to get a fix. Its a crying shame he cannot be my primary doc because in my opinion, I feel I would be the luckiest patient in the world. If only ALL doctors were more like him, we would have wonderful healthcare in the US. His nurse staff were also very welcoming and informative. So next time I need to be seen in a hurry (about 2 hours lol) I will be coming here. However, my search for a good doctor continues....

Chapin Urgent Care(Lexington Medical Center) is absolutely wonderful!! From start to finish, they not only did their job but exceeded it by far!! They care about their patients, and you get that care and service in their voice, actions, etc. I would absolutely recommend CUC!! They are above and beyond in the service, and care they give!!

I could not have had better care...from the front desk check in to my discharge. Dr Brown was very professional and respectful, as was nurse Amy. Thanks to you all!!!

I’ve had a great experience, from the front desk employee to the doctor himself. I was in and out with no issues whatsoever. A very clean facility as well.

I have been here several times and never had a problems. The nurses are really friendly and help out as much as possible. Not a long wait time either

Went to have my ankle looked at and it was a great experience. Everyone was incredibly polite, helpful, and friendly. Felt very safe and would absolutely go back!
