Very delicious chinese food here and the portions were big. I got the combo platter which was very satisfying and sushi was made fresh. Also dined in.
Freddy the waiter had impeccable service. 5 stars!
Will be back again for sure!

Traveling and was looking for a place to eat & was thinking fast food to keep on driving and saw this place. Was worth the stop.

We were kindly greeted and seated. Me yes given and brought drinks. Also brought out some crispy wonton and a dipping sauce.

Portion sizes were perfect for us! VERY HOT (temperature wise) when they brought it out! Good flavor! To me a bit too sweet. But better than many places.

Building is a bit older & could use a bit of updating. But very nice service & food. Would return.

*Update: Delicious!! This restaurant just needed some time to get settled. *Everything is tasty*, service is great. Definitely coming back! Previous: as good as Five Stars before the new owners took over. Sushi is pretty much the same. Fried rice is tasty. Sweet and sour chicken was too sweet and not as flavorful as before. Chicken in garlic sauce was completely wrong. I am hoping they accidentally gave us something else by mistake. Tried it again. Awful.

This restaurant has the best Chinese/Taiwanese food in the area and in my opinion of all time. The food is amazing and the staff have always been friendly. My family and I have been coming to this establishment for years ( I am talking 3 generations of my family) and it's always consistently amazing. While times have changed, the food and customer service have always been stellar! My sister, my daughter,and I frequent this area and it is always our go-to restaurant. Thank you Five Star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐!

It's rare when I drive past a restaurant that I visited once maybe 10 years ago and remember having a great experience. I was driving by today and hoped they would still be the same place I remembered. I stopped in and it was a nice surprise that nothing had changed. Everyone was very friendly and the food was delicious. I had a great hot lunch (with leftovers) in less than 30 minutes and spent less than $20 with a tip. I look forward to the next time I pass through so I can stop again.

Great food. Big portions. Steamed dumplings are fresh and juicy. House Lo Mein is also tasty. It had something in it I didn’t taste in other Chinese places. Definitely recommend

Always great service. The Shrimp and Broccoli with brown sauce is great. The Mu-Shu Vegetables is fun. The Pad Thai Noodles is really good too.

This was our first time at the Top Five Stars Chinese restaurant…..and we will be back. For a simple strip mall restaurant, the food quality did not disappoint. The steamed dumplings, crab Rangoon, chicken and broccoli, and General Tso’s were delicious. Our server was attentive. The price was about average for the portion sizes. And the dining area was modest but clean. My family and I will return.

By far the best Chinese spot around Hazelton area! Ordered General Tso's and it was awesome. Very meaty white meat (not stringy like most places have) and fair amount amount of food. Will order again and recommend to who ever is in the area

We sat down and ate. Food was extremely fresh,cooked to perfection best we had in a long time. Service was great, very nice folks. Would highly recommend to stop in. Was at the outlets in Hershey not to far off.

Let me say this to the staff, my gosh the food here is absolutely deeeeeelish!! Nice atmosphere, very friendly wait staff and the food as i said before is ALWAYS hot and ALWAYS FRESH. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FIVE STAR CHINESE RESTAURANT and honestly if I was able to give 10 stars you know that I definitely would. We plan on stopping by for lunch today as well. ❤❤❤

This is a very delicious Chinese restaurant. I don’t know what kind of mentality those who give bad reviews are. I order different food at Five Star every week. They are all fresh and delicious. It is a Chinese restaurant worth recommending. The ingredients are fresh and the food is delicious.

If your looking for something different then your typical fast food Chinese spot you gotta try this place. Was in the area getting a hair cut and decided to stop by afterwards. Didn't know what 2 expect so I went with the OG boneless spareribs. When I opened my bag and noticed how neatly packaged my condiments were that also included a special sauce for my boneless ribs Mmmm I immediately got excited. The meal was great! I can't wait to try some of their other dishes! I Will definitely be back soon! First experience 5 stars!

I wasn't expecting much from a small local place, but this so exceeded my expectations. We ordered sushi, and based on experiences at other local places, my husband and I ordered a regular roll and a special roll each. I can truly say I would have been satisfied with one. The rolls were huge!!! And, it wasn't just rice and filler - the actual fish pieces were adjusted to fit the larger rolls. Everything tasted fresh and we were able to see the chef preparing our rolls, so I can say we watched him slice the mango fresh for the top of my husband's mango passion roll. I apologize to anyone reading this that prefers pictures, I was hungry and dove in before thinking of taking one. Maybe on my next visit! Anyway, if you're in West Hazleton, I'd recommend giving 5 Star a try.

So far I liked everything I have eaten here. Service is always good. The only problem I have ever had is that one time I ordered war shu duck an got braised duck with vegetables instead. Simple mistake but still good eating. Looking forward to trying the war shu duck still.

A 5 star review for a restaraunt appropriately named Five Star ... Speedy service, management was excellent from watching some less than desirable customers being ignorant ... Handled well and w decorum which is seldom seen ... Generous portions for a more than reasonable price and the food in my opinion ... Scrumptious! ... I believe I have a new eatery to frequent now ... Recommend this fine dining experience all day long
