Turtle's Bar & Grill

It was a very busy Saturday night when we were here. Food was great, service was excellent, and prices were good.

The only thing I would change is the walleye fingers. The person in our group that got them said it was mostly fries and not a lot of fish. He said they were good though.

My husband and I have been coming to Turtle's regularly because of the delicious food! Our favorite is the Chicken Ranch Pizza and the Fetuccini Alfredo. Yum! So last week, when my son turned 21, we thought Turtles is the perfect place to celebrate. Lisa, the owner, was very accommodating. Saturday evenings are always busy but she still agreed to book us. In spite of the short notice, she helped us plan and set up a long dinner table for our guests. I got there 15 minutes before the party. The table was already set, cups and water were placed - all ready for our guests. Irene greeted me and helped me decide on starters. During the party, Irene would come every now and then asking us if we need anything. Guests loved the food, including the kids who ordered burgers, fries and pretzels. The kids also had fun with the activity sheet and the funny pet videos showing on one of the screens. When I got the bill, I was surprised that it was way below my estimate. Lisa also came to greet me and I couldn't stop myself from giving her a hug. Turtles made our son's birthday party a night to remember. For sure we will have many more gatherings over at this very fun and friendly restaurant. Thank you Turtles!

My wife and I have been going to turtles for over 4 years and every time we go there’s this young gentleman named Shannon there who takes very good care of us. We make sure to tip him very well so he can be a successful person when he grows up. The food here is delicious and nothing beats Saturday night college football with a beer and some friends definitely recommend this place 👍

Easily the best bar and grill and I’m 52 and have been thinking about these types of places for a long time! Outside looks like a small town dive bar with high windows and the atmosphere is dark. With classic rock playing the beer menu is the best of any location in the twin cities, if you’re a beer lover. Even the light lager (Bud light style) is Grain Belt. With a long IPA/ double list along with sours and barrel aged! Wow!
The food was excellent with the roast beef sandwich having cheese melted on the bun.
I live too close to have never visited. I will be back.

great service, busy but got seated for 2 pretty fast. drink prices good just missed happy hour at 6pm. got free drink for birthday and honored military discount. had Walley dinner. was great even tho batter could of been a bit more crispier. my wife had great fried chicken dinner. lit red potatoes were fantastic.

Turtles is a great local place. We go on Monday for burger night. If you arrive before 6 it is also happy hour. We have been going to Turtles for 25 years at least. Not many restaurants have been around that long. Say alot about the place. Try it you will not be disappointed. Pizza and roasted chicken is the best.

If you're looking for the best wings in the SW metro...This. Is. The. Place.
We tried the Thai and Garlic Parmesan bone-in wings for an appetizer and the flavors were uniquely awesome. These wings were moist and had a wonderful crunch with little-to-no breading. We had burgers for the main course and these were great as well. I recommend med-rare if you can handle a little pink. Mine was juicy and full of flavor but my husband's "medium" cheeseburger was a little dry. Overall...We highly recommend this place!

Great food and fast service. Tots were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Dragon wing were a sweet heat and cooked with skin on half for a nice crunch. Hot Jordan was with extra sauce and subbed banana peppers for the green peppers. With the extra sauce this was an extremely hot and spicy pizza but had great flavor and a crisp crust.

Turtles is wonderful place for beer lovers to unite! They have bars on each side of the restaurant and the seating is in the middle. They do have an outdoor patio. It's a great place to take the kiddos. There is also darts and pool to play. The beer list is paired with untappd so you always have an updated screen which is helpful. The beer selection is wide. They always seem to have specials going on. The owners are very personable and friendly. The staff is well trained.

I highly recommend dining here. The service was superb. It's been a looong time since we've had service like this, and we are dining out several times a week. The servers are mostly local teens, but they are trained very well. The fried chicken was perfect, crunchy and juicy. Thank you for a memorable local experience on our trip.

Always good food, generous portions. They have a great walleye sandwich and delicious deep fried mushroom appetizer.

Irene is an awesome server !! Not sure what others are talking about! ( Lisa) She is so nice and goes above and beyond!! One of our favorite places to go, husband and I love coming here for a good food on a date night!

My friends and I came in to order the 20lb of wings listed on the menu. Our server was very friendly and said no group has ever ordered the 20lbs of wings. She kept the drinks and napkins flowing as we conquered the wings. Will definitely be back.

Shannon served me my food like a gentlemen. Very satisfied. He is such a gentlemen who had served me my food. Satisfied by a lot.

The food was high quality and delicious. The wait staff were kind and welcoming. When we got lost, even a regular at the bar was friendly enough to ask us if we were lost and gave us directions.

Great place with flights of local brews, spaghetti was awesome and pickle chips, plenty of TVs to watch any game, friendly stay and quick service, will return again for certain! GO NEBRASKA! AND LIVERPOOL

Love this place! Such a wide variety of good food!! The only thing is, I can't ever decide what to get!!

We opted for outdoor dining. It's awesome being able to sit outside in downtown Shakopee. The only suggestion that I have is to close off the outdoor dining area to keep the pedestrian traffic out of the dining area (we were being pestered by a homeless lady and tons of people kept walking through). The food, drinks and service were however absolutely phenomenal. Our server, Kaili was very friendly and quick with our drinks and food. I had a pizza and cheese bread and my spouse had a jalapeno burger. We cant wait to come back and try more menu options! Great job!

Stopped after work for food to go. Had Jordan's Goulash, the September special. Absolutely delicious! It's available for a limited time. Get it while you can, you won't be sorry!
