Perch, burgers, and appetizers have been great everytime. Unfortunately the only thing negative is the restaurant has been what a appears to be construction that has been halted for sometime. Definitely will be back.

Great little small town restaurant. I would definitely go back here. The food and service was very good!!!

Stopped for lunch and ordered the Lawton burger and the duck tenders. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and plentiful. The coleslaw was excellent and the service was great👍 We will return

My husband and I went for lunch. We both ordered perch baskets with steak fries and Cole slaw. He had 2 cokes and I had 2 ice teas. Cost approx $40.00 before tip. The perch was fantastic. Well worth the cost. Received quite a few in each basket.. Steak fries were overdone though. Cole slaw was nice & cold . Liked the flavor of the tarter sauce. The tea was good. Service was good as well. There was some confusion when taking our order but they fixed it right away and even gave us apple cobbler on the house. It's nice inside, we had a table by the fireplace, which hubby loved.
Overall we would definitely visit again especially just for the perch.

I ate here with a group of coworkers some time ago. The burgers, which we all got, were huge and very very good! Lots of fries with it and they were equally delicious. The serving size makes it a great value for the price, several coworkers brought leftovers home.
The atmosphere is very laid back, log cabin style with stuffed animals on the wall. (In case the name didn’t give it away;)
I would definitely recommend for lunch, I can’t speak to dinner as I only saw a lunch menu.

I am from this area, with that being said I know what to expect from places like this, it's a quaint little bar with good food. If you are about that small town life this is the place.

Fast, friendly service, and the food? It really was excellent! Huge portions from the dinner salad and bread all the way through to the entrees. The food was served hot and the owner (manager?) also stopped by our table and checked on us which is always a nice added touch. Keep up the great work! We will be back! Yum!

The restaurant was very busy. The server stopped by often and made us feel like we were his main concern. Food came out fast and was very good. We will go back again.

Awesome restaurant! The service is great and the food is fantastic! Everytime my wife and I go here for lunch, i always get something different, which is not something I normally do, but all there food is really good. The price is lower than what you would expect for the quality of food and its presentation. Very pleased and will be returning many times in the near future!

My daughter brought me here for a Mother's day dinner. The place was pretty packed when we first got there but, it seemed like the staff was constantly running for drinks and food and keeping up with everyone there. My only disappointment was the fact that I was told that I couldn't get the prime rib because they were stopping that for an hour (which I don't understand). I ordered a strip steak and shrimp dinner and it was absolutely fantastic! This was the best meal that I have had in a very long time. Our food was ordered and delivered to our table in a remarkably efficient amount of time for as busy as they were. Hats off to the cooks and the staff for their excellence in service. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone that enjoys a truly quality meal with reasonable prices.

Amazing Burger and Service! I was served by the waitress Cassie. She was personable, and very helpful in ordering my burger. I asked her how to order a properly cooked pink in the middle burger based on who was cooking and she did an Amazing job. She knew her cook like proper wait staff should. The burger was cooked properly and was Exactly what I was craving. It is a hand made burger the only way a burger should be! I got the steak frys with it which are also homemade and incredible. I can't recall the last time I had a meal this good. My bill with two meals and a 22oz draft was $30 and I feel that was a great price.
You guys nailed it , special thanks to my cook. However Cassie you made it top notch and I will be asking to be put in your section if you are there next time!

Limited menu options but really good bar food chicken strips and steak fries were on point. Staff is super friendly and helpful and very quick.

This place is amazing! Their hamburgers are the best in the area by far! If you're in the Lawton/Paw Paw area stop by! You will not be disappointed! A1 service and really good prices! Definitely will make this a regular stop! Highly recommend!

This restaurant doesn't get near the reviews it deserves. Never had bad service, never had a bad meal. Eat in, take out, can't go wrong. Our favorite restaurant....no matter the area....especially now, make the effort to try them....won't be disappointed. Dan and Theresa

If there's a more Michigan dining establishment I haven't found it. Classic decor and menu and really good service. Is give the macaroni and cheese balls a pass next time but they had good salads, really great rolls and solid burgers. Plus the free popcorn delighted the kids.

I've been going here and to Big T since I was a little kid (like 20 years). The last 3 times I went to Big T, my experience sucked worse than Episode 1, so on new years day I decided to change it up and took the woman to Ducks. First of all, our server was awesome, I think her name was Cheri maybe? Anyway right off the bat we both said "yeah shes definitely getting a good tip." I got an 8 ounce top sirloin steak with a side salad, green beans, and mashed potatoes. The salad was pathetic, like it had been sitting open in a refrigerator all day, but whatever its a salad. When the steak came out, the server politely asked me to cut into the center of it to ensure that it had been cooked properly. I cut it open and it was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly, and it was a nice cut of meat as well. I was very satisfied with my experience so I figured they deserved a good review.
