Sangria Y Tapas

Went with about 30 women today for lunch in private room. Manuel and rest of staff provided exceptional service especially for our large group! It is always a special occassion to eat at this wonderful restaurant. I had the seafood platter special for the day. The octopus was best I have ever had. Wish the entire platter could have just been the grilled octopus as so delicious and well prepared. The lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams and mussels were generous portions I had to take portion to go. The pear, avocado, pine nut salad so refreshing. I could not have asked for better food, service or atmosphere.

Seriously one of my favorite restaurants in Cleveland. It’s hard to find that old school class and care that this restaurant provides. I cannot overstate how pleased I was with my meal. Highlights: Ceviche, Paella, Mascarpone. I need to come back and try their specials because they all sounded very interesting. Also, I tried every sangria and I can confirm each was fantastic.

I joined about 30 other woman today for lunch and it was amazing. The staff did a great job and food was perfect. Definitely try the octopus. I will be going back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining with a large group of friends at Sangria Y Tapas for the first time. The Paella Arris Negre was outstanding, complemented perfectly by the Spanish flaming coffee and a delightful lemon pie. Every dish was delicious, making it a memorable experience. Highly recommend!

Had such a wonderful experience today. The food was amazing especially the pork chop special! So many wonderful things to try. I’ll have to keep coming back!

First time visitor and I was very impressed with this establishment from the get go! My wife and I walked in and boom, a waiter was polite and ready to seat us. We sat on the patio to enjoy the summer air, but the inside was so welcoming! We walked outside to find a cozy back patio with flowers and sunshine. The patio also comes equipped with a covered bar to enjoy a game while you sip your beverage. My wife ordered a few apps while I enjoyed the stuffed salmon! Her appetizers were so good and my salmon was delicious! This place definitely impressed me and the service was great! If you have Marco helping you then you're in good hands. They have plenty of appetizers, hot foods and cold foods. The most expensive item that I saw was $29 for a seafood option, but they have plenty of other options. Check this place out, you'll be pleasantly surprised.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Cleveland! The food is always fresh, prepared perfectly, and the presentation is beautiful. Cocktails are made well and wine selection is good. The building, dining room and bar are nothing fancy, but the beautiful patio is the place to be if weather permits. Long time servers always are very personable and a master at providing a memorable dining experience.

We had an amazing experience today with a group of 30 women at this restaurant. Our host Manuel came in on his day off to work with us. He was amazing and very acknowledgeable. All the staff was very attentive to our groups needs. The food was absolutely amazing! I had octopus for the first time and it was incredible! I had the flaming coffee for dessert. The presentation of the liquor and the fire with the cinnamon and sugar was fantastic! Highly recommended! Can’t wait to return.

My husband and went to Sangria with my brother and sister-in-law on a visit to Cleveland. What a superb decision!

This restaurant gets 5 of 5 across the board. Expert staff, so friendly and knowledgeable. Very friendly, but not at the expense of professionalism.

The food was wonderful. There were so many choices it was hard to decide, both Spanish/Portuguese and more American style choices.

We started with frozen strawberry margaritas, which were very refreshing. We then chose hot Tapas plates of carpaccio de carne with Manchego cheese, and grilled octopus. Succulent. My husband and I also had the garlic soup, which was delectable and perfectly seasoned.

Main entrée choices were rib eye steak, a feast of the sea platter, baby rack of lamb, and a meat sampler plate. Just about everything was cooked to perfection, although the medium-rare steak was cooked a bit more on the medium side, while still tender and juicy. The portions were plentiful and very satisfying.

Unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. But to our surprise, our waiter brought complimentary glasses of Portuguese port wine after dinner! It was perfect. Smooth and flavorful and the perfect way to end this evening. This was truly a night, an experience, a dinner to remember... We will return.

The menu is very creative, flavorful, and executed very well. They have something for everyone, but if you like seafood, this should certainly be on your list. Excellent service, and prices are certainly more than reasonable considering the area and offerings. We have been hitting Sangria regularly since our first visit, and have never been disappointed.

First time here today...so delicious! Absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be back. In addition to amazing food, we also had incredible service!

We have since visited numerous times and I cannot rave enough about this place. The food is wonderful and the service is like nothing I have ever experienced anywhere else. Absolutely spectacular!!! The best!!!!!

My daughter and I went there for Thanksgiving. The food was totally amazing, Service was great! And the atmosphere was relaxing. I think this will be our new tradition for Thanksgiving. I'm already looking forward to going back for my Bday. But that's 6 months away🤣 But definitely need a reservation.

Tonight I had an amazing culinary experience at Sangria Y Tapas Restaurant and Bar. Spanish & Portuguese cuisine, family style. Talk about something good! Every single thing we had was being delicious. Scalia scallops and shrimp topped with crab meat and cheese, fish tacos, seafood stuffed salmon, apple blossom martini, and pistachio cheesecake. So divine.. The service was impeccable. 5 stars across the board. Thank you Vladimir for the invitation.

I've lived in Westlake just over 2 years, and hadn't been here... let me tell you what a mistake that was... this place is amazing!! I was NOT expecting it!! The staff was great, my waiter had the PERFECT personality for customer service, the ambiance was great, and the food... oohh the food... I am not a fan of seafood so I got a steak well done... it came out perfect! And the mushroom wine reduction was amazing! I wanted to lick my plate! My friends ordered the seafood stew and I must admit, the sauce was superb! The stuffed banana peppers tasted just like the ones my grandma made!! I cannot rave enough about this place! Lemonchello and espresso for dessert... I left so full... I will be devouring my leftovers very shortly!!

Went on a Sunday for lunch with a large group. The service was top notch. The food was amazing! I had the paella de Carne and I highly recommend it! Paired with a yummy peach sangria and flan for dessert. Definitely a 5 star experience!

This place is so good, service was very good, everything is delicious, portions are good size, and prices are very good too! Octopus is one of the best ones I've ever had! Totally recommended to everyone nearby! I wish we had this in Iowa!

The food was delicious, our server was very professional and kind. We met the owner very respectful. Will be back hopefully for Father’s Day!
