This place is GREAT! It's the old Houndstooth at the corner of 301 & 54. Carrie & her family are from upstate NY so a few of the dishes have a Northern flair (ask for the meat sauce with your fries!!!). Hubby & I had lasagna, with homemade pasta & it was loaded with ground beef & sausage. Friend had the chicken parm & the chicken had been pounded out & took up half the plate. Her hubby had the mushroom burger. We all cleaned our plates! The side salads were very good & the portion sizes on everything is very generous. Oh my goodness, the cheesecake is seriously the size of 2 pieces you'd get anywhere else. The service was great, everyone was super friendly & aimed to please. We will definitely be going back!

I really enjoy coming here, the staff is always friendly and accommodating, and their food is very good, they even have a little bar to sit at and watch TV, I like their Moscato wine and they now have Guinness on tap. The other day I ordered a BLT with Pasta salad and it was definitely the best BLT I've had all year, it had Hanover tomatoes on it and it was more than delicious and I loved the Pasta salad, Fried Flounder sandwich was also so yummy! Keep up the great work Carrie and Pete and the staff!

Wonderful place with wonderful people. Try the NC style BBQ. Very good. Chips are homemade. Smiles are real.

This place is great! It is under new ownership, and this was our first time there. Burger tastes like an outdoor, grilled burger and salad was fresh and delicious. Looks like a small, older place, so wasn't sure about it, but it was excellent! Staff is very friendly, too. It is a great place to go when you reroute from traffic on 95.

Pass this place on our way from NC to Maryland and back. Stopped by for lunch and it was very good. Ordered chili, meatball sub, wings and a side salad. Could give a full review but all I can say is it was great. Worth the stop, will be planning my trips to stop there.

This family owned restaurant is the best we've found in our 3 weeks in the area. Pete and his family are running a top notch restaurant. The wings are fresh, cooked to perfection. Done in their house made Zimmer sauce the wife loved them. My flounder was cooked perfectly. Their menu is surprisingly diverse for a small place. Pizza, burgers, all good.

Outstanding BBQ, hand cut fries, homemade slaw and key lime cheesecake. Excellent service and kind staff. Highly recommend you give this place a try. A real gem in the country. New owner aims to please

Awesome food at a great price. Service was fantastic. A great place to stop when you decide to get off from I-95 and take the back way to get out of traffic. The calzone was yummy and the house made Italian sausage sub was perfect!

Just had pure Buffalo wings, awesome sauce and chucky blue cheese. Wings were crispy and hot. Tryed the Zimmer and Buffalo sauces, both good but being a previous buffaloan I liked the buffalo style best. Great service, will definitely be back. Go Bill's and beer was very cold.

Love this place. Great food great bar b q. Lunch special had pulled pork chili. Delicious! First time here will be Back! Good beer selection.

I don't come here all that often, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. But when I do go, the food is good (particularly their in-house fresh cut fries). And the service is fine. Prices are very reasonable as well.

Decent choice of beers and very tasty food. I got the ribs and they were tender and flavorful. The homemade chips that came with it were chrispy and yummy.

Veggie sub is on point, despite not having meat and all! BTW, It was bigger when it came out...😉

We just ate here and it was fabulous! We just kinda stumbled on to it. So warm and welcoming with that “come on in and take a seat”, country cafe style vibe. We can’t wait to return.

Food is delicious and people are awesome. Comfortable atmosphere and good beer on tap. Great for a family lunch or dinner.

Cool place on the railroad in Ashland Va. Great food and service. If you're lucky a train will stop in front of you. Set so you can see out the windows.

The food is excellent. The service is good and the staff is friendly. My only complaint........ They need new seat cushions.
