Mad Mushroom

First off, this is pick up and delivery only, so they are what they are and I gave them five stars for atmosphere. There is no indoor seating and I see no reason to penalize them for that.

I like the taste of this pizza much better than Dominoes and better than City Pizza.

I placed my order by phone, was answered quickly, the man answered my questions politely, and my order was ready on time. Facility was clean and open, and workers had appropriate dress.

They are within 5 minutes of fayette mall.

Best pizza location in town. A little pricey but worth it. Food is great and the staff is wonderful. Never had a bad experience here.

The pizza is damn good. Upgrade your experience with cup and char pepperoni. We have been getting their pizza for a couple of years now, and it has always been good. It's not a sit and eat spot, which is fine with me. They can concentrate on the important stuff, good pizza.

We ate a lot of Mad Mushroom pizza and cheesestix when we were students at Purdue University in the 1990's. We moved away from West Lafayette and haven't had Mad Mushroom in 20+ years. When we were in Lexington for a medical procedure at UK Hospital, we made a point to get Mad Mushroom during our time in Lexington. Still the *best* cheesestix ever!

Cheese sticks were awesome. Pizza was good too. What blew me away the most, was how clean their kitchen and prep area was. Absolutely spotless. Love to see stuff like that.

Dealing with Morgan is by far the BEST customer service experience I’ve ever had, basically anywhere. I drive out of my way to this location just to be treated the way I get treated at Clays mill

Great pizza at a great price! The staff was very friendly and smiling. So refreshing to see that at any restaurant these days. The topping selection is top notch and don't forget to get cheese sticks...

I loved my bbq chicken pizza ! I had ordered by phone a couple of pizzas and different types of bread for me and my boyfriend to try tonight. I picked it up and it smelled amazing. I was instantly wanting to eat it haha but I waited till I got home. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. This pizza and bread are very good quality. Definitely worth the money and it’s not much different than any other typical pizza like dominos flat crusted pizzas. This pizza was fluffy. Definitely recommend. Plus very good customer service. The guy on the phone I had talked to was super nice and had a good tone even though it was 11 o’clock at night. Also when I picked it up all I got were smiles from the employees. Very good environment. Thank you !!!

My youngest son and I both have the flu and he hasn’t felt like eating much for the last three days. Today (12/3/22) he decided that he would like pizza for dinner so I called the Clays Mill Mad Mushroom location and asked if they would be willing to do curbside instead of carry out so that we didn’t risk infecting others. The female manager (I didn’t catch her name) and staff were incredibly helpful and kind and happily obliged. We are just very grateful to get out of the house, even just for a drive to pick up pizza. Thank you so much to the Clays Mill team and merry Christmas! Kindness goes a LONG way!

Had lunch there after Church today. Met Brandon who works there and very nice a great service. We had the Btl sub and Italian sub. Both where awesome. Yiu have to check them out.

Solid regular pizza. Never had a bad pie from this location. Always quick and correct. I will suggest spicy pepperonis and their meatballs are also fire. I've gotta try a calzone soon.

Trey and his crew are awesome. Food is amazing! Always a satisfied customer. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out.

My apartment is hard to find, the buildings at my complex aren't labeled well. I ordered a pizza because the daily specials are amazing prices and I love the food, and homework late nights deserve pizza. Anyways, noticed it had been about 35 mins since I got the email that my pizza was out for delivery, so I called in case it got delivered to the wrong apartment. The person who picked up was extremely nice, had all of my information pulled up quickly and offered to remake it because it would be cold when it got to me if it the driver was still looking for my address. I said it was fine, but he insisted they remake it. 2 seconds after getting off the phone the original pizza got here, but wasn't really hot anymore. Second pizza got here 20 mins later pippin hot. Incredible service, very good food, super reasonable prices- can't beat it! 10/10 would order again. Thanks to that service y'all just earned yourself a late night homework pizza customer for the whole semester! Thank you!!

Tonight, from order to delivery, was 18 minutes. A personal best, a new benchmark ;)

Thing is, they are always a good bet for 30 mins or under, every time. If you want it fast, have no doubt.

So then quality. Cheese sticks are the best, hands down. With 4! dipping sauces included. Pizza is exactly what you want in a fast pizza... Big And Good! I recommend sausage. Speaking of, if you go for a grinder, get it with sausage.

Wrapping up, is their delivery. Every time, I enjoy talking to the delivery folks. Good people.

I personally think this is some of the best pizza in Lex. I love their pizza and grinders. They have a quick staff and very nice. They also deliver in a very timely manner. The only reason they get a 4 and not a 5 is due to the lobby. I often wish I could come in, sit down and eat there. But I'm sure that is not their focus.

I cant thank micheal enough for reminding me that i payed for a pepsi and almost left without it. Taylor and Logan also made the best pizza (as usual)

The cashier was cute and kind lol just ready to do her job. As it should be. Honestly, I've had bad experiences with cashiers elsewhere. So yeah... Oh! The pizza was great, too! I wonder about the name's origin: Mad Mushroom lol

This place has the best pizza this side of Lexington.

We just moved into our first house near the Claysmill location and decided to use some of the coupons they sent us... so glad we did! They were super quick with carry out and the pizza tastes great. Will definitely be back!
