While I wasn't able to get my paper from this shop they were really fast in responding to an email! Looks like a nice place and I will stop in sometime

This store is always so clean and cozy. ECC is very bright and organized, so browsing around is easy! If you're in this area, you should drop by and have a look around... even if you go a bit out of your way! I promise you'll have fun looking around whether you consider yourself an artist or not. I have a feeling something will catch your eye and you might even find your new hobby here! I can't wait to go back for some more inks when I use up my current supply!

I just took the Modern Calligraphy for Beginners class. Michelle (owner) is an amazing instructor. She is so knowledgeable, kind and patient. I'm a lefty, so Michelle helped me figure out how to correctly do left handed calligraphy which you can not easily learn online. I learned so much in a short period of time (3+ hours). Her store has so much inventory but unfortunately I didn't have time to go shopping. I'm looking forward to taking more calligraphy classes at East Coast Calligraphy. Thank you Michelle!!

Michelle did all of the envelopes for my wedding invitations! The envelopes were a beautiful green and she did the addresses in white. Her calligraphy is absolutely beautiful; she’s so talented, and the whole process was a pleasure. I really enjoyed working with her and highly recommend.

My daughter and I did a class with Michele. She was AMAZING! We had so much fun and learned a lot. The store is so pretty too. Looking forward to going again soon and using our new skills.

Yesterday I took a brush lettering workshop at East Coast Calligraphy. I did not have any previous experience, but the description for the course said that it was suitable for beginners so I signed up. I had a hugely positive experience at the course.

The shop is beautiful; it is clean and welcoming, and it was a lovely place to spend a few hours. As a teacher, I can be a bit picky about instruction, but the instruction that was given yesterday was superb. Maureen, the instructor, was patient and kind. She provided clear instructions to the group, and then walked around to each of us individually to make sure we understood the brushstroke or letter that we were working on. Maureen taught us an entire alphabet, as well as a variety of flourishes and flowers that we could add to our lettering. She allowed us to try a variety of brushes, and reminded us that it was okay to make mistakes.

In addition to teaching us the basics, Maureen showed us examples of what we could create as our skills improved. She also told us that lettering was relaxing, and that incorporating some practice into our daily lives would be beneficial for our stress levels. I wholeheartedly agree.

The shop has an impressive collection of inks, pens, brushes, and paper--but I never felt any sort of pressure to purchase more than what I needed. I left class with a small project, and suggestions for things that I can do to practice my lettering.

I had a wonderful time at the class, and I am looking forward to the next one!

Visited the shop for fountain pen inks and possibly pens. The owner was very welcoming and knowledgeable.

Sharpest store on the block of Haddon! So many cool items! Holders, inks, books.. you name it. ECC has the hottest Calligraphy products on the market. Kits and classes for every level. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area! I’m sure you will find something you will like! Small store with a big bite!

Into calligraphy? On my first visit, found a wide selection of calligraphy pens, inks, and papers. The salesperson was very helpful and friendly. They offer calligraphy classes, about $60 each, but believe it's one on one teaching. Picked up a starter pen for $3! Worth a visit if your into calligraphy!

Amazing place! Full of knowledge and talent when it comes to calligraphy. As far as the pricing goes...they got better deals than most of the bigger Art Stores.
