I don’t go near a Blick store without going in. I’ve not been what I would classify as an artist for close to a decade, but the draw of such places is too strong. This is a very nice Blick and well stocked. If I still drew I probably could have spent some serious cash, but since I flew in to Philly my available space for stuff is limited, as is my purchasing options for larger items.

It’s hard to find a true art supply store anymore so whenever I get to Philly I must stop at Blick. They have the best staff and a fine selection of paper, pens, markers, painting supplies and brushes, you name it! With different grades of products you can find something of quality in every price range.

Don't miss this hidden gem of a store in the city! Even though it is a chain store brand, the way it is built underground at the basement level and the kind of industrial feel to the place makes it feel like a local art supply shop. Whatever media you work with, you will probably find it here. I like their wide range of products, from hobby craft, to art, to stationery and even quirky knickknacky stuff at the front. And at a good range for pricing, with economically friendly options as well as premium brands too!

Wish I hadn't wandered in here for a few watercolor paint brushes....because now I know it's there and it's SPECTACULAR. I could lose many hours wandering the well stocked shelves and dreaming about new artistic endeavors (not to mention losing $$$). Oh, and the staff are super helpful and friendly, too!

All I have to say is that this place is amazing. As an artist, I really have to say that Blick is a remarkable store for any artist who is looking for sketchbooks, pencils, oil pastels, canvases, paint, and so much more great art materials. The building is huge, and filled with anything you can imagine. Any sized sketchbook and any color of pencil is always available on the shelves and if you cannot find it, don’t be afraid to ask an employee—they are beyond helpful and assisted me when I asked them for a certain sized sketchbook. The cashier was incredibly kind and even noticed me about a reward I had; which I gladly used to unlock a discount on my purchase. Overall, Blick is an amazing store that I really do recommend to anyone who seeks for everything an artist can imagine.

Has the most variety of art and craft related things in the city as far as I have been to. Staff is usually very knowledgeable and fun to communicate with... There's always that 1 crabby employee that just turns you off from the place but it's been great mostly

Very helpful staff in the store. Nothing more exciting than all the rainbow colored shelves in an arts and craft store.
The store is so clean and well laid out and they have all of the best supplies that an artist or a drafts person could ever need. Also, the staff are generally artists themselves so they know their products. I only wish you could order "online only" things and pick up in store instead of having to pay shipping online

This location has two entrances, both with interesting signs. You can enter through the Lucky Strike door and take the stairs to the right, or through the doors under the beautiful Blick sign.

Inside are sprawling lanes of craft materials and staff who are attentive and a willingness to help. We were there to get materials for our Spotted Lanternfly costumes we were going to wear to Billy Penn trivia. The costumes were a hit and Blick is a big part of that. Will be coming here for any and all projects.

I had an excellent experience at the Blick store. I came in with a specific project in mind but no deep knowledge of the tools and supplies I needed. One of the associates, who primarily does cartooning, helped educate me on the types of water color paint, paintbrush selection, and even an idea for the execution of my project. I am posting the result in the review! So pleased with the kindness of the associate and the end result of my project.

Blick has everything I need. They keep the store well stocked and the prices are decent. I love that they carry all of the Golden paints and mediums, and they're often on sale.

Love! Blick! The selection of Art supplies are phenomenal. The Store is Always Clean,The Employees are professional and very helpful and it's extremely beneficial! To sign up for the Blick Card Membership! It can save you a lot of money if you have to frequent the Store for supplies. Plus with the Membership some items you purchase are "buy one get one free" I've checked the area and the prices are reasonable if not cheaper than buying from other Stores.

Visited the bowling center located on the 3rd floor in this building, I had a ball, great atmosphere and kids are allowed.

If you have graduated from craft store supplies (like the basic Michaels stuff) and need the RIGHT type and quality tools and materials, this is your place. Like heaven for artists.

I was approached by several people in your store to check to see if they could help me. Thank you for that It was much appreciated. I met the lovely Ty on her first day at Blick Art materials. She was patient and kind with me. As a first time buyer and beginner watercolor artist, I had no idea when I truly needed. Ty spent time with me recommending materials that I could use to get started. I’m very excited to get started on my new journey Ty! Visited here recently for the first time and loved it. The staff was very generous with their time and provided enthusiastic opinions. One of the staff helped me locate a gift for my friend for his birthday, notably a better gift idea than I had originally come into the store with. Going into the Michael's art supply store in S Philly after this will never be the same (I'll be just a little bit sad).

As an aside, it irritates me to read the ticky-tack misdemeanors people use to throw one-star ratings on this place. This is a real shop with real humans, don't complain because "the price and options are better in Amazon" (ugh) or because you didn't know what you wanted when you walked in. That's on you.
