Cool little deli with huge amazing sandwiches! The owner is so nice. Did I mention the sandwiches are great? And they have chopped cheeses too! Come by and give them a try

This place is right around the corner from my job and I love it. I eat here all the time, the managers the best, he gave me two free cookies with my order just cause it was a gloomy day out, definitely recommend the place!!!

I get the Philly with jalapeño n banana peppers. It is the best thing ever every single time. U gotta try the other stuff. The cakes are amazing. The potato salad is pretty darn good too. Nicest guy. Always friendly. Best sandwich around.

Lakeside Deli was a fun and delicious quick stop on my way from the farmers market. Lots of good choice but not too much sand reasonably priced. The chicken schwarma was the best and about $8 with a drink, love this place and high recommend it very friendly also.

I have been craving a good typical/taditional sub for awhile and I saw the positive reviews for this place and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did! So so good! The sub was delicious, the place was clean and modern, and they provided attentive customer service. I made a mistake on my online order and they took the time to call me to verify and graciously fixed it for me. I will definitely be returning. Really, it was so yummy.

Got the cheese steak and fries and the chop cheese. Quick service. Very friendly and great flavor. A great local spot to grab a sandwich.

Food here is amazing and people here make it super quick. Great drinks selections as well.

Amazing place, amazing manager!!! Reasonable prices & the food was great. I Ordered the chicken filly & my friend ordered the falafel. Both left with super full tummys. Many varieties of drinks & even got the cookie up front for dessert 😋 10/10

We were very surprised with how awesome the Philly Steak Sandwiches were. Absolutely loved the classic-style bread, freshness of ingredients, and flavor of the steak. The price is also extremely reasonable. It’s a bit of a gem in the Richmond area, IMO. Definitely looking forward to returning!

There are several reasons to eat at Lakeside Deli…and here are some of the reasons I’m glad I drove over from the West End for lunch!

First, the steak and cheese sandwich was flavorful with a slightly unique seasoning! The falafel…also, flavorful and simply delicious (yes, I sampled both)! I was amazed at the drink variety… and not just the usual soda selection. There are multiple coolers providing a VAST (and some “hip”) array of refreshing beverages for those who are serious about hydration!
Did I mention the LARGE and creamy NY cheesecake slices?! There were other desserts in the case I’ll certainly sample
In the future.

The best part of the experience was the incredibly friendly and attentive service. This is an owner-operated establishment, and it is clear this owner CARES whether or not you’ll be back.
I will be back!!

HOLY COW IF I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD. Words cannot express on how amazing this place is. Philly Cheese Steak, Spicy Italian are TO DIE FOR. I RECOMMEND LAKESIDE DELI TO ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE. One of my absolute favorite lunch spots, I will continue to come here for a very long time. 1000/10!!!!!

The best little Lakeside gem! I’ve tried a majority of the menu and not a single thing disappoints. The owner and his wife are the sweetest and always greet you with a smile! It’s become a weekly tradition(sometimes even a few times a week) 😋 I recommend Lakeside Deli to everyone!

The cheesesteak is the bomb! This was my second time here in a week. The food is always fresh, the staff is very friendly, and they have a great selection of beverages and snacks. This is my new favorite spot!

This place has saved me a number of times when I’m on my way to work and need something quick and delicious. Call in ahead of time and it will be ready when you get there. The cheesesteak is one of the best in town. I usually split this into two meals and get extra meat and cheese and it’s consistently been da bomb. Worth the trip even if your not in Lakeside. Get an awesome sub and go eat it in Bryan park. Perfect combo.

Great food and great value! New go to spot after a round of disc golf at Bryant Park. Owner and his wife are super nice people! I suggest the Philly Cheesesteak but I also had my eye on the burger.

Lakeside Deli is delicious. Chopped Cheese with Jalapeños and Hot Spicy Italian are go-tos. The owners are so sweet and Lakeside is lucky to have such a solid local sandwich spot.

Lakeside Deli, Where good service and good food meet. As a lakeside resident, i was witness to the change in ownership and management that took place over the past 18 months. Afsheen, has turned Lakeside deli into a regular staple in our household. Serving up Fresh subs, sandwiches and salads. The Chicken Philly is a personal favorite and the wide wide variety of cooler beverages is a huge plus(Lots and Lots of Options.) The food is the star, but the friendly staff really makes this a neighborhood staple. This is my new go too, for bites whenever family is in town. 15/10 Approve.

I’m really happy this place opened up! A authentic New York deli/bodega right beside Bryan Park. Amazing bacon egg and cheese bagel for only 5$ Run by an amazing family. Stop by and get some good food and feel at home while you wait. Come see Abrar!
