Sadaf Restaurant

The atmosphere is elegant. We started with the eggplant. Flavorful & silky smooth. The koobideh was delicious and juicy. The Sadaf salad is a must order. Our waiter, Alborz , was so attentive and helpful, pleasant and polite. The dessert of dark chocolate mousse & raspberry was a show stopper. We will definitely return.

This is a local treasure. A full bar, great Persian cuisine, and friendly service. We dropped by after running a few errands on Moorpark Rd and were delighted. The portions are huge. The picture below is half of the kabob portion. We shared a single order and brought home almost half for leftovers. A nice selection of cocktails and beers and bottles. We look forward to our next visit.

The baklava was a nice way to end the meal. It has a bit of a unique flavor, which I assume is the Persian style.

There were all ages of families there, from elderly to families with young children. You could sit a larger group there of 10 to 15 without difficulty. But there's also plenty of cozy seating arrangements for couples or small groups. There's outdoor seating with heat lamps and lights along TO Boulevard on a nice evening.

The service was great, and the food was amazing! We ordered the combination plate, and it had a lot of food, everything was delicious. I recommend this place.

Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. The prices are on the high side but you will at least be pleased all the way around.

some of the best persian foods i’ve had in the US!! tender, flavorful, juicy cuts of meat that paired w the rice (w raisin and dates) and white sauce was phenomenal! Also had live guitar music on Friday night which added to vibe. Would love to come back but we have keep moving on our road trip.

Went with a group of family and friends on Christmas day. It was full of locals, who were a wee bit loud, but the food and the service was awesome. Delicious food, huge portions, rice was fluffy and tasty, chicken squewers were huge and the salad was fresh. A real winner .

I heard about Sadaf restaurant with new ownership and decided to try it. I went on Friday with friends, and we test fresh food with excellent service. I am also attaching a few pics of food, restaurant, and menu. Two suggestions for a new owner, (1) Please serve hot sauce, (2) Please add a pic of dishes in the menu list (It will help for a new customer to choose.)

It was my first time there. What a great place to eat and hang with friends. The staff could not be more attentive and engaging. Very pleasant and courteous. We had the shrimp kabob (large shrimp marinated to perfection, fried and served over the perfect rice)the whitefish kabob ( marinated with saffron and other spices), the salmon kabob (grilled with seasoning)and the soltani. We also had the house doogh, regular doogh, tea. The Sophia desert was out of this world. Never had something like it). It was a great night.

What a lovely and unexpected find. Delicious dinner, full menu, wonderful dessert menu, and a live guitarist who played beautifully. A great dinner out! Highly recommend.

Wasted 2 hours trying to think something negative about Sadaf. Could not come up with anything.

This local place of ours - is the best! The staff is so nice and welcoming, the food is delicious, and everything is clean and neat. Portions are so big I have leftovers a couple of days later. Prices are so modest for what they offer.

As we entered the restaurant at 11: 30 am right after it was opened, we were surprised by readiness, and cheerfulness of our host and server Hamid. As he found out that we were first time visitors he took time to explain menu items along with local favorites. Our family of four ordered juicy chicken, koobideh and chicken koobideh. Main menu items may be ordered as half rice / half salad with many choices of gourmet rices and specialty salads. Everyone in our family enjoyed Sadaf's well prepared delicious foods, and great hospitality .. definitely among the best (Five Stars) we ever tried. Highly Recommended !

First time visiting this place, it's a moderneusqe Persian restaurant with a nice & inviting ambiance. Foods were delicious, and prices were reasonable, and people working there seemed friendly.

This place serves awesome food. Enjoyed every bite. Lamb Chopp was super delicious. Eggplant dip was terrific.

I decided to stop by after I heard there was new ownership. What a great move that was.

The level of service topped with the delicious food left me satisfied and yearning for more. I'm Persian and I'm taking picky when it comes to comparing what I get from my mom under our family's roof. They definitely have my mom a run for her money. The kabob combination was delightful and the service was warming. We will make this a routine stop from now on.

Our group of 4 shared the starter combination and tahdig with 3 stews. Both were excellent and great for sharing. I would get them again. I liked the Sadaf salad. It was a very generous portion and could easily be shared for 2-4 people. Their hot tea is a must enjoy, so flavorful. Service was top notch.

Great food, my first Persian food experience and I was pleasantly surprised. Great healthy options and very high quality food for the price.

Every time we go there, we are met with unmatched hospitality and the food is great too. Last night, Iman, Alborz and Moha were the highlights. Thank you all.
