MOST AWESOME BOARD GAME SHOP! I've been to several game shops, and this was by far the best. Amazing selection and the staff were very friendly and informative. Margaret in particular was a huge help to us - she helped us pick out games with certain things in mind and never once seemed annoyed or bothered. I wish I lived in GR, I would visit often!!

Blue bridge games is one of my favorite local stores with great atmosphere and wide selection on games and puzzles of all types. I absolutely love spending time browsing the awesome collection, and talking with the owners about games. Would take friends from out of town to show off this great local treasure.

I discovered Blue Bridge Games while I was visiting Grand Rapids and I haven’t stopped talking about them since! I was greeted by the friendly owners and was impressed by their great selection. They have a wide variety of basic and advanced board games (my fav), puzzles (my parents fav), and all the above for young ages (nieces/nephews fav). The owners, Ken and Margaret, are incredibly nice and knowledgeable. They even helped me with game recommendations for a friend’s wedding gift (Which they loved btw. Thank you, again, for that <3).

I get back to Blue Bridge as often as I can and it is a must visit for anyone looking for a gift for themselves or someone else!

My sons dog developed a taste
for a puzzle piece and destroyed it. When I was unsuccessful at contacting the original supplier, the owner of Blue Bridge provided the piece! They were so helpful and considerate!

The staff is vey knowledgeable about their games, and always been helpful giving me great advice. Prices are very competitive with big box stores, so with the personal attention, this is always a first stop when I need a game.

Blue Bridge Games is a great game shop with a wide selection of board games, some TTRPGs (mostly D&D 5e), as well as card games and puzzles. In addition, they have a section for renting popular board games. The store is always clean, brightly lit and the staff are very friendly.

They recently caught that I was supposed to have a discount on a product I never received and reached out to tell me that they had caught the error and were giving me a credit on my account. They are very honest as I hadnt brought it up or even remembered myself.

The only cons for me are the hours are a bit limited and Id love if they ran game nights so I could meet more of the local gaming community around here.

Came in right at noon excited to check this place out on Sunday 11/5. Built a nice list of games I’m interested in. One of the owners/shopkeepers even offered to take a pic but I think it was more of a nudge not to take pictures of the games themselves. Next time I’ll bring a pad of paper. Definitely a good selection.

Great selection of games from classic favorites to items a little off the beaten path. Games for all ages and tastes. They have a nice area with tables and beverages/snacks if you want to play with some friends, and don't feel like cleaning off your own table. Staff is very knowledgeable of the different things they sell. Can't wait to go back and see what else I can find.

I love the game selection! ALSO - you can go the their website to see if they have what you are looking for in store! You can pay for it online and pick it up to make sure you get what you need. This saved me on Christmas when Amazon lost my package. Thanks Blue Bridge!!

I’m a pretty big board game player and they had probably every single game I have ever heard of in stock, along with expansions and new ones too!! Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Have now been back multiple times and will definitely be back again!

Membership program for overnight game rentals, free in-store play, events. Members can also sell thier used games on consignment. All the big titles for reasonable prices... as far as brick and mortar stores go.

You should know, going into this review, that I'm highly biased toward the owners of the store. Highly. They're completely lovely people, provide great customer service, including making great recommendations if you need help picking out a game. They're also family. So there's that. But I think if you look through the other reviews you'll see that I'm far from alone in these feelings.

Here are some specifics about things that I really appreciate about Blue Bridge Games:
-The vibe. It's bright, clean, welcoming, and Margaret and Ken only add to it -- it's the exact sort of place you want to check out if you're new to gaming or could use help picking out a gift or a game or puzzle to grab to bring along on vacation.
-The 2-player section: I appreciate having those games separated out to make browsing them easier - my wife and I game a lot with just the two of us, so that's super-convenient.
-Membership: being able to rent games as well as to consign games for store credit is awesome. Totally justifies the annual fee.
-A big role-playing section and as other reviewers have mentioned, a super-giftable/splurgeable selection of dice.

Love Blue Bridge - not just because they're family. They're legitimately one of the very best retailers in Grand Rapids. They do it right!

Really enjoy this game store. Small but surprisingly large selection - just enough to not be overwhelming but enough to where you feel like you had a good amount of choice if your looking for a new game. Staff is really nice and will answer any questions you have, and the membership is something my husband and I are seriously considering. We recently moved to the area and this will be a regular stop for us, for sure.

This is a fun shop with such a wide variety of games! Perfect spot to stop for unique board games and the employees were very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Great find!

So many board games and card games! A really lovely store. And the owners are excellent at making recommendations. There are tables to play games on and a membership program with a game library.
